stream runned again today. Less players appeared today, but i saw some interesting things

I recorded some footage, but i'm really a noob at recording/editing. The archive will probably be oversized and with inferior quality. I will try to upload it on youtube, but it will take a while with my shitty internet too -_-;.

edit and export to .mp4 good quality and less size.

yes, i did it with format factory. The size was reduced a little, and i can't really spot a loss in quality compared to the original. But when i tried to upload to youtube, the quality was gone to oblivion. Ended up uploading it to dropbox.

But it can be described as Crescent moon ryougi 214b, but slower, with a higher arc and cross-uping more easily. I don't play persona, but people said in twitter that it's similar to Yosuke's moonsault in terms of arc lenght and speed. Not sure if it have to be blocked high.

Okay, the Yosuke reference gives me a good idea of what it looks like. That's a strange move to give Orie but maybe it'll make more sense when I see it in action.

Looks like some characters have specific vs quotes pre-battle now (not generic vs quotes). Just heard Chaos and Hilda acknowledging each other.

Also, the new B+C actions are pretty neat in motion!

I'm starting to wonder if they made vs themes for the other characters...

Just heard Gordeau vs. Chaos so I hope they follow up with Orie vs. Merkava or Linne vs. Seth...

Merkava B+C has him grabbing then twirling the opponent around and flinging him/her across the screen.

People who were usually Hilda or Merkava got hit by Chaos' Infinite Worth a lot lol Vatista's most likely to become a victim as well

Chaos player managed to hit the "Instant Kill" (which we should call something else by this point since it's not really an IK anymore) but I only caught the last few seconds of it lol It's not that spectacular.

No Merkava vs. Orie or Seth vs. Linne theme sadly... I'm probably just expecting too much.

I like neat little touches like these. Makes the game seem like a labor of love.

Saw jp players talking about it in twitter on the last month beta, but just now saw it in motion. They joked that it looks like a newdad swinging his child

battle arena shinjuku streamed again today. It was laggy as hell, more than the other days, and the sound bugged for a time ( http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/6656/n1ex.jpg ) . They said that they are using a new equipment to record the stream as a test, and apologized for the problems. I was able to record some footage again, and this time i captured just the game, not my entire screen. But the sound was bugged when gordeau vs chaos theme was on :V.

-i was wrong about orie b+c. It just put her in the air, and after the ascending part she can do anything she wants. Jb (crossup), j2c or air summon (overhead), simply land > 2a or even use assault. She says "evasion!", so maybe it have some invencibility?

-saw merkava using his snakes and controlling when they would run. Don't remember seeing it with normal snakes before, just ex.

I hope the videos are indication that hitstop/hitstun deterioration has been modified. Yuzu wasn't able to get her old BnB off so either that's missed inputs or changed untechable/hitstun times.

I can also only hope that the combos don't become as long as the previous version once this releases.

They changed a lot in this version.

I was streaming commentary and noticed that the grind gauge has had a lot of changes. I'm not sure if this was true before, but it changes much more often now, going up and down according to who's doing what.

One can only hope. Shorter combos would go a long way to make this game more energetic imo.

So they came out with a new version of UNIB? Not that I really paid much attention to the game until now, but glad to see there was a major adjustment to how long combos last. :V

Umm... Yes, it is Exe:Late... or to be more accurate, the version which was in the loketests month or so ago... Text in the stream says "In the middle of Exe:Late loketests" but those ended ages ago... Who knows, it could very well even be the final build...

Anyways, today's site update told us details about the new systems. All "Force Function"s consume 1 GRD block, but they are also be usable even if you don't have any GRD

Counter Assault a.k.a. "Guard Thrust" is executed with a command 214D while guarding. There's two ways to activate it though in both way you still need you to have 100 EXS... If you are in "Vorpal" state, you can consume the status to make "Guard Thrust". The other way to make it is by using 100 EXS... but doing it this way will end you up in "GRD Break" state.

They said that next week they'll reveal the character page which has been a secret until now... Meaning pretty much Nanase...
