Hyde's theme is my favorite.

Which is pretty coincidental since Hyde is the character I would main (if this game ever saw a console release).

I'd want to say it's the guy from Gordeau's arcade story, but dunno because of that pose lol (plus the screen's so damn bright!!)

but it might be Lex in a different costume or a different pallete of that guy, who knows

But if it was Lex anyways, I'd be pretty disappointed since there goes my ideas of having Gordeau's buddy as the book-wielder character :c

Thanks to the people who uploaded the OST

So far my favorite tracks are Hilda, Gordeau, Seth.

The rest is okish, maybe after listening more some would start to click with me, who knows

Also, to the people uploading the ost to youtube, it would be better, that if you really want to upload that stuff, fo it on an alternate account, that way if FB takes action, you wouldnt lose all your other uploaded content, learn from the mistakes of others, uploading matches and combo videos (as long as it doesn't have random music) is ok, but you are opening the door to getting troubles by uploading the music.

I dont know shit about this game but the dope soundtrack caught my attention. Watched a few videos and I'm liking how it looks. I'd play Gordeau, Yuzu and Seth probably.

If that picture of a sprite is work for a console exclusive character then I hope it's Gordeau's friend Caius rather than Lex. I really hope I'm seeing discolored pants, rather than short-shorts. :v:

Speaking of possible book-wielders, it could also be a completely redesigned Mercedes.

I thought romaji for that is "Aka, Watashi ga Egaku Ko no Sekai" the first kanji could be read as "kagaya" as well, so I'm not completely sure but since this game likes all kind of red stuff, I thought "aka" would be what they aimed for... Translation for this is something like "Brighten, the world of loneliness I paint". But really... the lyrics of this game's songs are quite interesting since they are sort of "linked" and few times reference to what were in the lyrics of other songs.

Oh, and no one has yet to mention, but apparently they are going to have UNI's http://inbirth.info/topic0080.html"]official tournament called -OVER THE WORLD- This time obviously all the characters are allowed to be used. Final will be held on March 23th.

Also, Waldstein, Carmine and Hilda have the best themes. I really dislike Wald himself though.

eargasms back to back! can someone give me info about track 26? I've never heard it until today.

It's supposed to play after Hilda's arcade story, as the bad end credits theme (otherwise, "heart beat breaker" would play if it wasn't Hilda)

You have to be pretty damn patient with Play Asia. It's a goodsite, but the system isn't the best. The inquiry system gets back to you in a day or so if you ever ask a question, which I found reassuring.

Anyway, that tournament should be hype if people play Hilda. Or Eltnum. Either is good :toot:.

that's why CD Japan >, or if they have an option to use FedEx on Play Asia just use that even though it costs a little more.

"Birth" and "Verse" are pronounced the same by the Japanese if they cannot pronounce "v" (which is not too unusual).

Interesting enough, they've mixed up "v" and "b".

Game is called in Japanese: Andaa Naito Invaasu

Vatista is called: Batista

Don't know if it is on purpose, or if they are plain stupid.

Their reasoning was that, I kid you not, they actually said this "Oh we're calling it re-birth, we mean in-verse, but we're calling it re-birth because it looks cooler". That was their "Reasoning".

And what annoys me the most about that is how they INSIST on calling it in-birth and re-birth when they actually mean in-verse and re-verse in situations where Re-Birth would actually make sense.

For example. Take the boss lady. She says she's seeking a re-birth. Right away you think she wants a reincarnation or to be reborn, but wait, she ACTUALLY means re-VERSE which is pretty much the same thing. Then why not just mean it as a re-birth and why do you insist on having us call it re-verse if you don't mean that? Ugh.

If this game ever gets localized, i can see that discrepency being a problem with the translation. Oh well, the game's story is shit anyway.

The Japanese love word games and association, particularly with foreign words (3nd Impact) it's not really a big deal, the actual implications of the words are irrelevant as it is an in-lore term, so it can be changed and pronounced in any way, even completely defying the original connotation. No discrepancy would occur, only an explanation (which in general is what UNiB is bad at in general as they toss around tons jargon without much explanation).

I don't think the story is "shit" just simple and bare like pretty much any arcade title lol, should they wish to truly expand on the franchise I would hope they make truly fleshed out story mode, of course that's no guarantee that the quality would improve, but hopefully at the very least character interactions would hold more weight.
