SolxBaiken Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 Hi Counter or no, Hyde has had 9k combos for awhile now (double Chain Shift lolol) This is a "Combo-ge" where the momentum or "abare" is very high and you can land long combos/high damage off of nearly any hit. These games are about turning the experience into a 1P game as much as possible (see: Marvel, Chaos Code) although this game is pretty bad because it's not that uncommon to see the SEVEN GOLDEN LETTERS! (Perfect) It's just the nature of the game, although with more adjustments to Chain Shift (it shouldn't give you meter, and the damage boost in Vorpal is kinda lol) and characters in general (It's cool that throws prorate heavily and you have to work to get at least 3k, but they do 2kish on their own and the combos off of them are still nice timer eaters) it could change, but unless they make some major update or a sequel I don't see the game changing much.

So many untechable knockdowns, so much stuff that OTGs, EVERYTHING seems to either grant a knockdown or juggle state, etc etc. And yes, Chain Shift is really dumb.

Konflyk Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 I think that this is pertinent to this thread with the possibilities of the game being released on steam http://www.siliconera.com/2012/12/08/valve-to-release-steam-enabled-pcs-to-compete-with-next-gen-consoles/ I think that's more along the lines of, not steam(Valve) playing the role of Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft but more so they'd have someone like HP, Dell, or Compaq have a minimum requirement for the PC layout such as, minimal CPU, GPU, PSU, etc. they'd just have steam installed on the PC out the gate and try to get it integrated at a base level. Regardless I doubt that'll change the fact that this game will be PC only for the most part whether it hits the Steam platform or not we can all be hopeful.
