Bibiquadium Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 I never complained about the nerf itself, but the overall change that complety changed the character from scratch, so don't get the wrong idea. I guess it wouldn't come to the mind of someone whom his char has barely changed at all.

Brice Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 lol tager... he's a completely new chracter in extend. his combos are all new stuff and lots of his normals got changed. makoto only got shorter combos... grind that shit man and it's gonna be ok. i was frustrated when going from ct tager to cs1 tager because i couldn't feel my character for 3 meetup straight. then i started getting the hang of it and then boom shit was fun to play again.

Best way to reorient to your new characters is to play against other people as much as possible and watch videos of how he's being handled by other pros. The biggest thing is having the correct state of mind that your character requires to be effective.
Bibiquadium Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 Lesson learned, challenge combos are utterly useless in any situation. Combo videos saving the day, now I got a much better combo startup which does more dammage at the begining and makes it easier to reach my 4~5k combos.

D: EDIT: Don't take it too hard, Bibliothek. Transitioning to CS2 Haku was a major pain for me and made me switch to Valk for a while. I almost didn't touch Haku again, but I'm thankful I did because it wasn't that bad at the end of the day. Just stick to it!
Bibiquadium Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 I simply took the wrong approach, I'll stick to my CS1/CS2 Makoto, she didnt change that much in the end, I was just being delirious at first and once I had done challenge mode. I'm looking at CSEX Makoto differently now.

mAc Chaos Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 I want to play Extend. :< Alas, must wait for the US 360 release. Those combos seem good, but I noticed that a lot of them don't let you do the double wall juggle anymore, which is a significant change. They do less damage that way.

I know New Kirbster combos, Stick Throw > Table Flip > Loud Scream No. ^ Meter: Three beers Dmg: $1.2k I got this Nolan; New Kirbster combos, Stick Throw $200 Damage> Table Flip $60 Damage> Loud Scream Super whiffs. Foonzo punishes J.F's whiffed super with GTFO>ASSTROLL FINISH.

Don't give up. What did the trick for me was playing LoL. Split your competitive focus in half, split your rage in half, and then you never reach the critical point. Bibi, stop hating on challenge mode combos, fun for lazy subs. Also, pretty good trolling value. Always hate losing to someone using exclusively challenge mode combos :p
