Next Last Saturday Of The Month is the 29th. Woz, do you have a scheduling issue, I forget? I'm going to do some scientific testing to see if HD Lag exists on either machine since I have both. Next tournament will be STREAMED and I'll probably throw in an additional prize.

My parents have to go to NC on the third week of every month to work, so they can't take me to tournaments. I have to go with them this time as well, but I should be able to make this one. :D
Seiki Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 If teams gets a small number of entrants do AABB, but if it's 20+ people it might be best to do pokemon style. When tourney starts though the set-ups should only be used for tournament matches. no friendlies till tourney is over or tourney gets down to like top 4.

I see no point in taking away a good P4A setup that could be used for tournament and making it a P4A casual setup. It's time we put on our big boy pants and just not play during tournaments until our match is called.

I never really liked enforcing it and we haven't really had a problem with this, but I will DQ both players from now on if you don't gtfup and report to me or whoever is in charge of brackets while I'm in a match. But I'd like not to have this discussion again. The question was AABB or Pokemon style. @woz: great. 29th is the fourth week, so I'm glad there is no discrepancy. Next time we meet, i'm bodying you. With that said, make it something cheesy like a poster or something, that'll be lol.

It's not people dodging anyone. lol I trust Milln to fly through this next one where everyone will have time for casuals at the end. It'll be awesome.

Like when Tad and me were going to sit down and play. There was a bit of time left over but he wasn't feeling well and had to call it a day. There were also a few other times where people had to bail out before getting to sit down and play any friendlies. Don't worry Milln, i'll make the tournament move by swiftly as I proceed to destroy everyone in the brackets.

I think it is a waste of time to make A's play A's and B's play B's, and its less hype. Final Round 11 was 3v3's me Chris Brown and Shawn McCool, and we just took turns being on point and each OCVed the first three teams. Stuff like that makes it a ton of fun to me, to be able to ocv or reverse ocv a team, and it is also much faster. People getting up, switching sticks etc... Its a hastle. I understand that it is more fair or whatever, and everyone gets to play... But I had way more fun at Final Round 10 just cheering on Jacob Ford ocving every team than I did actually playing. If I have a teammate good enough that I don't have to work, then that's awesome to me, or to be the person just cutting down an entire team. Too fun.
