Volpe-de-Glacio Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Took me a second to realize what this was. I was like "What is he saying... .... Oh. Got it. Ha." Yeah. . . Pops is a trip. It's whatever, I'm focused on the singles. I can go undercover spy if necessary.
Milln Posted October 9, 2012 Author Posted October 9, 2012 Her Persona can only be broken by supers (Unless you hit her), all of the Persona's attacks are faster, some have better proration, some have extra hitstun, her 214C/D always cause a ground-bounce, and it recovers faster after every attack. To get it to work, you have to break Asterius with a super, without hitting Shadow Labrys. To make it stop you have to hit her, or she has to do Titanomachia again.
ZomB Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Our team from Georgia will probably be: Me (Mitsuru) Ivysaur (Chie) ColonDivider (Kanji) My Chie is available for money matches though :p If anyone wants some last minute match-up experience.
AlexSanteria Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Are some of these tournaments team based? I'm from East TN driving in to King of Bling and am kinda wildcard right now.
Mr.Minionman Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 That feel when you realize you can forwards/backwards tech nearly a month after receiving a copy of P4A. With a secret flying rocket kick mega buster attack. :O

Eshi Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 That's exactly what I was looking at. Damosu's shown me a couple of safer methods of closing the gap between myself and the opponent so I can take advantage of her strength at close range, as well as inspired me to possibly find a more efficient way to pull off some of her harder techniques. It's like every time I review Japanese Liz footage there's some extra gem about the ways she can control space. @ Qualifiers - I heard Damosu entered and fought a couple people, but I can't find the vids. ed: didn't realize it was a stream. I'll wait for it to be uploaded.don't bother, the two elizabeth players including damosu got crapped on pretty hard the only Naoto player got crapped on too.
Milln Posted October 9, 2012 Author Posted October 9, 2012 Are some of these tournaments team based? I'm from East TN driving in to King of Bling and am kinda wildcard right now. At 2PM on Saturday, there's a State vs. State Persona team tournament. Oh balls I left Volpe out of my nominations. Swear I put him in. My bad, man. five nominees.
Jackie Chandler Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Easily Chandler and Star. Jackie definitely, he's the spirit of Tennessee and so whacky. *Cries manly tears* I love you guys. I'll rep TN the best way I know how- with gimmicky bullshit and playing so unintelligently it somehow loops back to being intelligent. quartz parchment shears? It took me three hours to figure out what you were saying with this. Studying for midterms must be kicking my ass even harder than I thought, haha.
Volpe-de-Glacio Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Honestly if Midnight has Aegis down I'd say he should be repping TN too. Skilled player behind the best character in the game? Pffft. Though if not, we should figure out how it'll be decided. Though imo it should just be a brawl to see who earns the slot if we have the time. Deliberate character composition might be sensible, but exactly how much a player can squeeze out of their main is important too.
Jackie Chandler Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 imo it should just be a brawl to see who earns the slot if we have the time. This. Depending on if/when you guys decide to do this, I'd be able to record the lobby/games and upload the video to MTN's Youtube channel. Of course, there's still the issue of the XBL/PSN split, but maybe the two winners could decide the slot with a set taking place at Game Galaxy before the event starts with converters and whatnot.

As far as I know, it's just Woz and myself on ps3, unless someone else wants in, so that should make it simple. I won't be able to do this until I head to Kriss's place, but it should be doable as long as Woz is up for a match sometime this week.
Urichinan Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 (edited) A mini-tournament deciding who gets the spots for the state vs. state sounds fun, but seems like it would be a big hassle. =/ I'll go with whatever you all decide on. In other news, this just happened: EDIT: And this too: Edited October 9, 2012 by Urichinan
Milln Posted October 9, 2012 Author Posted October 9, 2012 Netplay is garbage. I'm done with it forever. I think we could actually just talk it out for the last spot, but a mini-tournament could be fun. All in all, it just matters if Bishop shows up or not. Midnight has been giving his friend's sister rides to and from band camp instead of practicing.

Jackie Chandler Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 PedoBear approves? Pedonight/Midbear approves.

Kyle Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 (edited) Ohio: Kyle (Naoto) FleshPounder (Aigis) YetiGhettoSlang (Kanji) ActionHank (Mitsuru) 2KnL8 (Yukiko) _____________ Sluch- Tekken If another state doesn't bring at least 5, they are the worst piles of trash- holding everybody back. :3 Also, Why not give TN (3) teams? Put Memphis together & spilt up the rest of TN into two teams? Edited October 9, 2012 by Kyle
Bane Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 I'm on PS3 as well, but I won't be able to compete with you guys, surely. I wouldn't mind joining in the fights for experience, though.
LastStarSaviour Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Just going to throw my own personal 5-man team list up there: Me (Mitsuru) Jackie (Narukami) Woz(S. Labrys) or Volpe (Elizabeth)/These two are riding the fence due to the fact that I haven't fought Woz in a while so I can't identify his player skill yet. Likewise for Volpe since he hasn't played in like a month Milln (Yosuke) or Bishop (Chie)/ Riding the fence due to the fact that I don't know if Bishop has even been playing P4U lately. Every time I see him on PSN he's playing Tekken, regardless though, Chie. Milln has definitely made some progress from what I played recently. He was able to hold his own against me and I feel bad for not being in the zone completely to give him proper Mitsuru match-up experience. Nonetheless, he's a Yosuke. Astaroth (Kanji) Just because of non-homosexual <3
LastStarSaviour Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Well, this list is something I made based off of how much people practice and their skill based off of what i've seen and played against. Tad would be riding the fence with Astaroth if I knew Tad had the game and was able to get some practice in. Needless to say, his Kanji does scare me a bit. Naimat is solid, but he needs ten times the experience he currently has, if you ask me anyway.
Milln Posted October 9, 2012 Author Posted October 9, 2012 Niamat & Tad^ You guys do have 10-players right? We have like fifteen. Over fifteen. XD Tennessee, last bastion of air dashers.
