Well, since no one really can know yet, seeing how Plat's so new, I asked Prima Guides for their opinion, since they seem more than willing to make tier lists for games no one has played yet. [best Matchup] Platinum - 6:4 in favour of Platinum Platinum's best matchup is probably against Platinum. With her wide variety of attacks, she's well able to combat Platinum in any situation. [Worst Matchup] Platinum - 7:4 in favour of Platinum With her varied (albeit somewhat random) moveset, Platinum can be a nightmare for Platinum to deal with. You'll need to closely watch what item Plat has out and adjust your strategy accordingly if you want to stand a chance.

SoWL Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 SPEAKING OF matchup threads, just in case, nobody should make them yet. it's much, much too early for that just yet. we don't even have platinum via console yet, let alone enough experience beyond that to justify making them. And we can use the Self-Improvement thread for random "How do I beat Ragna?" questions. For the thread name, we may go with mahou shoujo references, just like her moveset does. Though it's going to be hard to pick the one and only magical girl that everyone knows, so it may be a better bet to use something generic. I dunno, "SUGOI AS ふCK PTTG"? Though that may look better as the board subtitle...

Also yeah, using the self-improvement thread for simple, random questions like that would be best. I did kinda want to use ＳＵＧＯＩ ＡＳ ＦＵＣＫ (and/or alterations) somewhere but I'm not sure it's best as a thread, or board subtitle.

For example: Platinum The General: Repping The Luck Arcana Platinum The General: Why Not Cool Your Head A little? Platinum The General: Active Angel Kinda like how the Noel boards became NVG through it's own evolution (it just kind of happened, it was fully embraced during our 9th thread, which was the first one to officially have the label of NVG). We also have nicknames as well, like we are also known as "The Vermillion Vanguard" often times shortened to "The Vanguard" or just "The VV". We're hood like that =w=

I thought about doing a different subtitle for each thread, but I'm not suite sure how fast these threads are going to fill up! Might go much faster when Plat's actually released, so it won't hurt to improvise until then.
