Kyosuke Kagami Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 lol online is for fags But yeah, fuck this shit. UMVC3 has more droppers than pubic hair
Agni Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 I can't believe people still play a game that has THIS many ridiculous infinites. It's painfully obvious capcom didn't even fucking play-test this game one bit.
furix Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 That is because the game itself is fun to play. Pulling out infinites like those and winning always feels good. It's the same reason people played FUC, Hokuto no Ken, and many other fighters with broken infininites.

Agni Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 MvC2 actually required thought to play and didn't have Scrub-Factor X-Factor. It's a night-and-day difference between it and MvC3.
SolxBaiken Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 MvC2 actually required thought to play and didn't have Scrub-Factor X-Factor. It's a night-and-day difference between it and MvC3. *looks at user's title* hmmm... X-Factor may be strong, but it's not scrubby, each has their own use, and it's up to you to determine how you use it, and even without it, this game's overall damage output is through the roof anyways I can't take Marvel seriously, but that's just because it's not my kind of game, but it takes just as much skill to be good at it as any other game, people that can block mixups and setups are insane because there's so much crud going on, I can barely keep up, this must be how humans in DBZ felt ' w' also the inputs for alot of the combos, loops, and infinites are just murder to my hands, so seeing anyone who can pull them off with great succession both fills me with rage and respect lol Honestly if the X-Factor Burst from H&H mode was a normal feature, I'd probably play this more seriously oh TvC, how I miss thee... but I'm more shocked that you feel compelled to strongly voice your antagonist opinion on a sub-forum that barely even follows the game = w=
Blade Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 lol online is for fags But yeah, fuck this shit. UMVC3 has more droppers than pubic hair Assuming I get a new PS3 in a year or two, can someone help me unlock Silver Strider? :/
Vulcan422 Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 So I finally decided to actually learn Swagneto. Let's just say I realize that, up until just now, that I have been playing this game completely wrong.
White Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 Persona is a broken game yet people are going to play that im not defending this game but really what ive noticed is that players love playing broken fucking games Which is why mvc2 had such a long life span, and people loved Calamity trigger
TD Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 Persona is a broken game yet people are going to play that im not defending this game but really what ive noticed is that players love playing broken fucking games what Which is why mvc2 had such a long life span, and people loved Calamity trigger what
Blade Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 Why people gotta bring drama and hate in to UMvC3 threads from other games all the time?
TD Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 hey, l just saw two things that definitely need explaining, because the general consensus on both are the exact opposite. l didnt really come in here to start drama in this clearly already peaceful thread rofl

Blade Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 It's not your fault Tempest. But a FG collector like me respects all the FGs equally so...none o' this hate, guys. Love and Peace.
iw2ma Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 I'd still like to see those questions answered though
Hecatom Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 spreading ignorance is what you did i have to wonder, do people know what broken means, or is a tantrum that they like to throw without knowing for sure? strong characters =/= broken do you want to know what broken is? go play hokuto no ken
Ludicrious Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 *looks at user's title* hmmm... X-Factor may be strong, but it's not scrubby, each has their own use, and it's up to you to determine how you use it, and even without it, this game's overall damage output is through the roof anyways X-Factor is pretty lame. The problem with it is that it can cover up for bad play, in a game already in which 2-3 mistakes can literally cost you the game already, X-Factor just simply makes it more overboard ridiculous in these terms. I've never seen another Marvel vs Game in which there were so many 1v2 or 1v3 comebacks ever. Prior to this during MvC2 you would see epic things like Justin Wong's 1-pixel comeback or his solo Cyclops win over Yipes Team MSP, fact is, during MvC2 it took 100x more effort to make a comeback within a similar situation, especially when down to only one character, and X-Factor greatly increases these odds, as witness to what we have seen numerous times even at the highest levels of play. I don't believe UMvC3 is a great game at all, due to the fact it feels more TvC then an actual Marvel vs game (making a button a launcher ). However I don't despise those who play it, because its your taste. Not only that but at Evo, it was easily the most hyped Finals and Grand Finals at the tournament other then KoF XIII (while AE:2012 Grand Finals was kinda meh). Lastly, broken games are played a lot, and can be downright fun. Like GG didn't have any dumb bs, or 3rd Strike didn't have Chun/Yun winning 98% of the tournaments or that Tekken Tag wasn't full of Mishimas and Ogres during its prime. The gameplay is what will draw and cater players to wanting to play, and without a doubt hype for the game as well. Balance is overrated.

furix Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 I want Phoenix Wright to be able to gather evidence a lot faster and easier... and buff his damage a bit.
HoudiniJr100 Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 I want Phoenix Wright to be able to gather evidence a lot faster and easier... and buff his damage a bit. that'd be cool for PW players like you and me. (as well as good ol lythero)
furix Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 well... I don't necessarly play him... because he doesn't feel viable enough, but I would if that change. :< I am stuck using top-tier teams so I can win.
