C0R Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 Hakumen's Yukkikaze is unblockable. The only way you'd be able to "block it" is in a situation like... Mu dp's through the superflash while a laser activates the counter, because her DP has full body guardpoint against all attack types including unblockables, it was display a block-like animation once, maybe twice, then the guardpoint would deplete and the final hit would fatal her.

Holy Shit, I just realized your avatar changes eye color - I was getting freaked out for a minute... And Mu bugs me, I can't seem to find the right openings to get in without using Mami. SoWL Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 Not sure if new, but just there, LITERALLY, I was playing against a Jin and clashed Plat's C Distortion on the exact moment Jin used his Counter Distortion. Platinum won :P She still had enough invincibility from the start up XD Not a viable strategy, more of a fun fact. Probably old I bet, but it made for a laughable moment. Speaking of which, I remember triggering Jin's Yukikaze with a bat in such a way that he goes through my invul frames, failing to strike me. I tried to do the same with Haku in Training, but failed. I guess his Yukikaze has more active frames or something.

Yes it does but you have to be painfully close midscreen and it has to be at least a level 2 hit.
suna19 Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 when does it become a level two hit? at the top of a single jump arc or do you need to go higher than that? i finally got the 6C>22C to work for me. i always rush the inputs on that combo, and i wasn't walking back far enough, but i finally got it

BC > 66 > 5C > 2C > 236B > 6C > j.236C > j.C > 22C > 5C > 6A > 236B > oki 38 heat, 3747 damage just do 5C sjc j.B j.C JC j.B j.C j.236AXX after the 22C for 4k

Took the original image, duplicated it, then changed the colour of the layer (Ctrl + U) to that of which matches what I want the the eye(s) to be. I then simply erased everything but the eye and set the image layer type to "color" (Dang American spelling >_>). This then changes the eye colour almost perfectly, there might be a couple of alterations needed afterwards, but for the most part it works perfectly for me. Alternatively, go to post #157 that everyone ignored >_> That also explains it in a more simple fashion.
