Chris Chaos Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 I'm not sure if 6A CH > 5C works or not because I don't remember from the hype of finally playing the game, but if it makes you feel better, I usually go with 2B > 5C after I get a 6A CH in Extend since that works.
xlolxlolx Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 hmmmm how long is the untech time on a normal high 6c hit?
TCSyd Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 (edited) For side-swap, I do: j2C > 66 5C > Sekkajin > 66 5C > 2C > 2D > 66 > 44 > 5B(1) > 2B > 5C > 3C > 214A > Delay 623B > 66 6A > 3C > 214A 3250 Damage/47 Heat @xlolxlolx Doesn't seem any longer than CS2 to me. What did you have in mind? Edited December 24, 2011 by TCSyd
xlolxlolx Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 i was thinking that some A ice sword juggle bullshit would be possible if untech time was longer than cs2
TCSyd Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 Ah. I'm pretty sure that's impossible. For midscreen 6C, your options are pretty much: Dash Cancel jC > j214A/B/C/D, 214C, 214D, 623A (RC), 623B (RC), DD.
Lucien Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 thats pretty sad It IS CSX Jin we're talking about here....
Tonberry Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 6A CH > 5C no longer works? Well shit, I guess it's dashing 5B from now on to hit-confirm 6A CHs. That and I'm guessing that the 6A RC window is smaller, we'll need to get better at hit-confirming 6A into RC. I don't think that works either. You can 5b in place but there isn't enough time to dash, or if you can it's very tight in comparison. I'm not sure if 6A CH > 5C works or not because I don't remember from the hype of finally playing the game, but if it makes you feel better, I usually go with 2B > 5C after I get a 6A CH in Extend since that works. Do you get sekkajin after that?
Chris Chaos Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 Do you get sekkajin after that? IIRC, I was able to perform Sekkajin right after that but only some of the time because Sekkajin would put Jin too far. If I was close, I would get the launch though, but seeing how you're hitting the opponent with 6A, you would have to be pretty close most of the time instead of max range anyway.
Tonberry Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 You can still dash 5b? Sweet, that just means I need to grind it out.
Chris Chaos Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 Well, if you guys are interested, you all can see my first play of BBCS:EX during the Michigan Scene Casuals. The Michigan Scene Presents: BBCS:EX Day One Casuals Part One- Feat. ShinSyn (JI) vs Blakmaphia_Kiros (RC)
Jyosua Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 Wow, that makes a lot more sense. Not sure why I didn't pick up on that. Thanks!
Chris Chaos Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 It's all good, just happy to help. Hopefully I can get my copy of CS:EX and get some Jin mirrors with you since you appear to be the only one who's said something about importing it (or already have) in the other thread. I should have my copy sometime next week so when that happens, let's play a few games.
Jyosua Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 Sure thing. I ordered it a couple days ago, and paid for faster shipping. Should have it in the next week or so. Keep in mind though, I'm still a scrub. XD But I'm practicing a lot and making progress.
Chris Chaos Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 Bro, I've said it before: When a new installment of BlazBlue is released, every Jin player says "Back to the Drawing Board..." We'll be on an equal level. Heck, did you see my poor performance in the video I linked? I felt so free when I landed a 6C and was like: How in the "F" do I follow this up?! Sure I've seen it done in videos but in an actual match, I was hella lost, LOL!
Chris Chaos Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 I'm doing 6k combos again :3 Just saiyan. Good Job Lieutenant Vermillion, now get back to those stack of papers you were supposed to give me hours ago... And where is my coffee?!

I'm building the reflexes I need for accurate button input, but as far as learning actual combos, I decided it would be best to relearn along with everyone else.
LunaKage Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 Good Job Lieutenant Vermillion, now get back to those stack of papers you were supposed to give me hours ago... And where is my coffee?! Bitch what do you think this is? You don't own me on my day off, I'll bitch slap you with Bolverk.

I feel my reflexes are decent though I still have to work on them to become even sharper. Also, I love the new Jin 214A combo, and I plan to have a lot of fun with him this time around. Bitch what do you think this is? You don't own me on my day off, I'll bitch slap you with Bolverk. Oh, you better not be out of the office! I guess you forgot my nickname is Mr. Scrooge and I made Christmas my bitch for 3 years straight! Now for the second time Lieutenant Vermillion; where is my Coffee! Don't make me cut you!

Your sword is as dull as the jokes you make around the watercooler, I'm not afraid of that blade anyway, I've been cut more times than a fat kid at baseball practice.
