xHarukashii Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 (edited) I think your solid shin but unorthodoxity? i dont really see that anymore nowadays since most solid jins play the same now maybe some random gimmick every now and then but we just all end up ripping off each other for them and putting them in our play style here and there. most really solid jins i see right now are now based off fundamentals of the character and the game itself, match ups(different auto fuzzes,combo specfics etc) and blocking in some match ups cause you prob wont be able to dp for free in some match ups if your up against a good player. If you mean 214A, then yes, sort of. 3C > 214A is ACTUALLY the best ender in terms of oki options. 3C > 214A > 214A, on the other hand, removes the ability to crossunder, and it has a couple frames less advantage. So, the BEST way to end would be with 3C > 214A > 3C > 214A, but this doesn't work on Noel, Rachel, Tager, or Tsubaki (second 3C whiffs). Pretty much this, you play solid and throw some gimmicks out here and there to keep the opponent on his toes. Pfft, screw switching to Hazama or Ragna, I'm switching to Platinum lol. Bubble oki + TK Swallow in the corner has got to be the most fun and effective thing out there. I won't really switch though, I'll just sub Jin, sub him hard.

The only thing I can say for you is you use a lot of gimmicks, mainly the 623c reset in the corner (not really a problem but what happens when you're opponent starts adjusting and they don't work anymore?). I recall one time you telling me how I adjusted too well to your play style, and it wasn't really that. It was after I saw all your tricks I had nothing to fret over, and I would just use my more damaging combos to take control of the match. I one wanna see some more damaging combos outta you :D and not just whatever you can confirm. But eh, what the hell do I know? lol just do your thing bro.

Edit: It's nice to know more than one character, counter-pick against characters which have a bad matchup against either of your characters lol. "Tager, huh? Works so well, and if they block they have to think "Will he DP or not DP?" Here's a hint: I DP.
