Ayashii Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Ren is too busy playing Happy Wars on the 360, take it from someone who has helped close the gap between our communities by playing with him. (Ren is hella free at Happy Wars btw)
CMSORA Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 "Ren apparently hasn't played since the end of February." Sadness indeed
Jourdal Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Holy shit. When's KEI. I saw that guy like twice and once was getting killed by Izayoi.
xHarukashii Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Thanks for the comments guys. Also about KEI what happened to that guy?
Jourdal Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Just one time, once against Ronitta, and once against an izayoi.
kirk Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 lol i havent seen much jin vids. Mostly tetsu and ronitta from dec/feb or random izayoi vs jin matches xD
shtkn Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 jin frame data's coming out. interesting tidbits: 5D is -9, 2D is +3 in OD, 5D/2D/6D frame advantage is increased by 6, so 5D is -3, 2D is +9 623D fully charged is unblockable and fatal (not sure if it's forced fatal or not) in OD, 236D is dash cancelable (haha) in OD, j.236D has less recovery (maybe can do an attack before landing?) crush trigger is +2. most crush triggers are + or neutral in OD, cooldown on D specials is removed
Putin Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 (edited) 5D is -9 5 frames less disadvantage... New 5D keeps bringing forth tears of joy :lordknight: Edited April 1, 2013 by Putin
Moy_X7 Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 shtkn, am I reading this right or is 5B -6 now? Holy shit, that's one helluva nerf.
cadacus_ater Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Well, they had to take something away from us to give these beautiful gifts, lol.
Moy_X7 Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Man, getting 5B during pressure out of my system is going to take a while. That thing has been an essential pressure tool since the CT days
mAc Chaos Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Where is this frame data being posted? Or available.

Jyosua Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 (edited) Things that I notice from looking at the frame data: The new fubuki, although it otherwise uses the frame data of Fubuki A in CSE, retains the invincibility after Frame 3 that fubuki B had, but it appears to be head invuln instead of full invuln. 2C also has head invuln 5 frame earlier than before, starting on frame 9. 5B not only is -6, but that is a direct result of it gaining an additional 6 frames of recovery. Don't whiff it. It's 19 frames of recovery if you do. I'm not sure how 2D is +3 now... the frame data looks exactly the same as it did in CSE. Same attack level, startup, active, and recovery. Wtf? 6A also looks the same too, and is said to have the same frame advantage it had in CSE... the effect of being more + on hit is likely due to the new untech time/hitstun system. 6C gained 4 frames of recovery but was raised to attack level 5. The net effect is that it is now -13 instead of -11. You can cancel into 6B though, which makes for a slightly smaller gap - about 7 or 8 frames. The new chargeable 236D looks to be about +30 frames on block, max. -13 when uncharged Also the new A ice sword on the ground is 3 frame faster than before. for the air version, I don't see anything about landing recovery. Maybe they removed it? :O! Edited April 3, 2013 by Jyosua

Maybe they removed it? :O! Yeah, I don't see it either but I wouldn't get my hopes up. Removing the 11 frames of landing recovery from Air Hishouken is a huge deal. I wonder what the point of an uncharged 236D is. Maybe something like corner stuff > 5D > 236D works? It would make for some CS1 style oki + mix-up.
eQualz Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 @Jyosua - Huh? Why would 5B have a recovery of 19 frames when it says it has 13, you don't count the frame advantage and recovery together, do you? If so I've read this wrong this whole time, lol. Also 5B vacuum effect is on the first hit now by the way.

If the wiki says 13, that's an oversight by Moy, who has been editing the game data in the page. I would fix it, but I don't want to touch it while he's working on it.
Moy_X7 Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 You can go ahead and correct any mistakes you see. I'll let you know if I work on it some other time so that I don't overwrite your edits or something.
darkasjinksu§ Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 (edited) Hello people, this being my first post ever, I would like to say I plan to be a regular on Dustloop... That being said, I fixed a few things on the BBCP Jin frame data, but feel free to undo anything. Apparantly with all of Jins training, he neglected his legs, and is thrown terribly off-balance when he whiffs a 5b XD (edit: merge of double post) Edited April 3, 2013 by darkasjinksu§ Merge of double post
Moy_X7 Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Hello people, this being my first post ever, I would like to say I plan to be a regular on Dustloop... That being said, I fixed a few things on the BBCP Jin frame data, but feel free to undo anything. As long as the information is accurate, there's no need for us to "undo anything" lol. That aside, I appreciate the help.
Ctrlaltwtf Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Apparantly with all of Jins training, he neglected his legs, and is now thrown terribly off balance when he whiffs a 5b. Who wouldn't, looking at that animation. Also, you probably shouldn't make your forum debut with a double post. Welcome to the forums.
