FlyingVe Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 ..Habacan > 5B? Or dash 5B? If thats easier than was 6A considered hard? xD They're just making this a cakewalk aren't they... Dash 5B. It wasn't hard, but it wasn't super easy either, and it got stupid on certain characters, the 5B version should be easier and much more stable. Also, Relius and Tager look pretty cool in CS2X.

Valkenhayn was irritating, but I didn't have too much trouble with anyone else... 5B does sound easier.
Mr. Kimura Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 I want to thank COR for being awesome, thanks for you willingness to help man.
Aginor Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Dash 5B. What a sell out. Gtfo. :x Ragna in CS2 and now Relius and Tager? ;| Speaking of which, I think I'll be an exclusive Mu main from now on. I'm going to stop playing other characters once BBCSEX comes out. My downfall was playing around with too many characters in CS2 due to boredom. Though, I'm really only worried about platinum and hazama so far. We'll see how that turns out once the game comes out.
FlyingVe Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 I already play Mu, Ragna, and Tager, but depending on how Relius feels I'll likely drop Ragna or Tager... or maybe try to play 4 characters... *shrug* My time with Marvel has leveled up my execution substantially, so Ragna and Tager were getting a bit boring to play. MU is still #1, but I fear she'll get like CS2 Tager, where nothing changed and I get bored.
C0R Posted October 10, 2011 Author Posted October 10, 2011 Yo unless 5b does 650 damage and has 96 p2, it will NEVER be better in combos than 6a.
IburntTheToast Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 so ive been playing mu like shes bang, i intend to keep playing her like this because its fun as balls. got some questions about her block strings and what not tho, ok (2a 2b 2c iad jb xxx) is shit like that viable at all? also timing on her corner xxx j2c jd xxx shit is there any stipulations on the jd or can i just throw it out on go on with my day? it drop once in a while, is that just my retard fingers acing up or do i actually have to set it in a precise spot?

I'm not a really good Mu-12 but. pretty sure with regards to steins, throwing out is fine, as long as you're not open to a free combo. Dunno with the rest, I'm kind of confused with your post so I think I shouldn't answer anymore, least I make a really dumb statement Also sometimes steins can fuck up your combos. On another hand. Michi likes to RSTD my Mu before I can do anything. How do you stop rampaging tsubakis ;A;

Uh...I think I get what you're asking about the corner combo? I found on most combos I can do jD or j6D almost anywhere coming down after j2C, but the next j2C has to be delayed a bit depending on the character for it to hit when the laser does.

CA's...my roommate plays Tsu I fight this matchup a lot...go read the matchup thread, I've detailed posts about this everywhere.
ThunderboltZ28 Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 I can never do 5C without getting stuffed by 5B.
SolarMisae Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 I can never do 5C without getting stuffed by 5B. That means you're too close to her. 5C is slower than Tsu 5B but it has better range and beats 5B at max range easily. You REALLY have to space your normals against her or you'll just get CH. Like I said, stay away from her. Just learn the range on Mu's normals and stay at that range. Tsu takes more risks in this matchup, make her have a hard time catching you.

I always seem to be too close or too slow. I haven't even figured out what Noel's moves do yet.
LuminAbyss Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Proper spacing and footies is something you learn as you play, through trial and error, really. once you get it down, you'll be stuffing things all over the place though. On an unrelated note, I love your new avatar C0R.

YukiBlue Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 After Seeing 5C's actual hitbox, I've kind of trained myself to never ever go closer than it during Neutral game. When I have Steins out and I manage to hit 236D sure, Balls out crazy 6B > SoD. Hitboxes are (Imo) incredibly important with Mu.
FlyingVe Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Yo unless 5b does 650 damage and has 96 p2, it will NEVER be better in combos than 6a. Like I said, IDK, but I've seen more then one Mu player do it after a habacan in CSX, so there has to be some reason. Could just be more stable.
ThunderboltZ28 Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Okay is it CSE or CSX? Has anyone decided what to call it yet? I'm not calling it CSEX.
ThunderboltZ28 Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 I like CSX. It reminds me of Guilty Gear.

FlyingVe Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 E on the end sound like it means edition, like, CE = Collectors edition, or SE=Standard Edition. X is a cool letter and seems to say extend more. I like X.
C0R Posted October 10, 2011 Author Posted October 10, 2011 (edited) Borrowing Tari's new HDPVR. Incoming vids. Like I said, IDK, but I've seen more then one Mu player do it after a habacan in CSX, so there has to be some reason. Could just be more stable. Just trust me on this one. The old 6a route is still the go to tool. Edited October 10, 2011 by C0R
