milesw Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 To anyone with a EX copy, can someone try the BBS combos starting off of: anti air 6A CH > 66 5A > 6A > BBS anti air 5B CH >66 5A > 6A > BBS 2D(3) Fatal > 66 5A > 6A > BBS and tell how much you get or if they even seem worth it? Oh and one really awkward set up: 6C CH > 214A~A > 66 5AAA (for height adjusting) > 6A > BBS Only attempted the first one for now But I felt doing AA CH 6a>5B>6A would be better the full combo i did off of it was.. AA CH 6A>5B>6A>BBS(lv3)>66 5D>214A~C~B>5CC>j.B>j.c>j.D>2C>236A~D(lv3)>5CC>j.B>j.c>j.B>623C~D(lv3) which came up to 3886 dmg I'll put up a video soonish~

Either way getting near 4k off 6A sounds really good, getting more off with CH AA 5B would be grand. Any videos of this one? Doesn't seem to work from what I tried, can't BBS of either A AA or AAA (didn't try on every single char of the roster) As for the other combos on top, they are way more fancy than they look like in a CMV, once I manage a full combo out of them I'll give you news. I tested this on Valk so it might be more fickle on others, but the general ideal was to either get BBS to land while the opponent is either behind her or getting it to hit with the latest possible time which is what the idea behind 66 5AA was for since it makes BBS whiff then lands as the opponent descends.
Bibiquadium Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 It may be better to do a CH 6A 2D, might come out with better damage meter less. Just doing 6A 2D 2C 214A D PF is 3.6k but you can also use 6A 2D 2C 214B j.B j.D corner carry And from a 6C CH you can 6C 214A~C~D PF for 4k
OmniSScythe Posted December 27, 2011 Author Posted December 27, 2011 The thing is with those is that you lose out on a ton of meter, and using PF(3) at anytime when it's not going to kill is dangerous. Of course if it is going to kill then keep it simple.
milesw Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 My verdict on these combos? Impractical. How far away you are is really dependent on what kind of wall bounce you get. And the 6A needs to be cancelled/hit at the PEAK in order to succesfully get the wall bounce. C=corner M= directly midscreen of the stage '---' = the range from the corner afaik the BBS setup works from C__________M__________C C__________M__'---'_____C So this means the 6A>BBS will only confirm within the region above. If its too far outside the region it wont wall bound. If its too close to the corner it will wall bound but Makoto's recovery from the BBS so close to the corner means she wont have enough time to capitalize off of the wall bound and dash 5D/5D at all.

But it definetly is unsafe(5a mashable) if you dont do the 623C~D correctly. Im just thing of the highest damaging combo which ends in a decent oki.... Doing tk dp makes us lose out on like 200~300 damage i believe but so far it looks like the best thing to go for damage wise+oki 214A~C~A> orb is trash Havent tried shooting star... I assume 6B orb may still be effective but more damage will be lost if you end the combo that way...
