makoto's extend bnbs are super hard, like damn, the margin of error for timing is non-existant for so many of them. ~_~

yeah it sucks. still dropping the 2c 236a~d regularly.

2C 236a~d requires* no timing and can be done right away on Ragna, Mu-12, Taokaka, Carl, ... ? and all the other chars have the exact same timing, so its just practice really. 2C 214A~C~B 5B 6A 2D[1] 5B 6A j.CB j.D 66 5CC j.B j.D 66 PF is a good way to practice, its a midscreen combo too.

No, it's got nothing to do with highly demanding execution or such. The timing is different and needs getting used to, but 2C > 236A~D is fairly easy. 2C > 214A~C~B midscreen is a bit more precise, that will take practice at first, but it's nothing that's too hard or complicated to do in a regular match.

execution-wise there really isn't anything difficult. it's all about timing. just doing plain lvl3 drives is awfully strict, even goro messes it up with some regularity. Figuring out how to follow midscreen PF[2] is quite frustrating. She can still combo after a DP CH with PF and it's also freakishly hard. the 214ACB stuff is also quite timing strict. I used to play carl and I can do fuerte's RSF loop like it's nothing but lots of makoto's combos are giving me trouble, it's a strange change.

PF(2) is super frustating, i can follow it 1 of 10 times with right combo.

214A~C~B timing depends on usage, it's hard after 2C on grounded opponent and much easier after 2D/2D>2C. 2C>236A~D isn't hard, though on some chars it have tougher timing.

Using RC after parry for choosing needed side is pretty hard, but it rewards you with corner and higher damage.

From what I tested with 2C 214A~B~C is harder/impossible to land it if you 2C'd while being glued to your opponent, but works flawlessly with just a tiny bit of spacing.

Even with the nerfs she is still very fun and enjoyable to play.

something like 214A~D>PF(2)>2D lv3>2C>214A~C~B>5CC is enough hard i think%)

you can like this 5C CH>2D lv3>214A~C~B>5CC>j.B>j.D lv3>5D lv3>2C>236A~D

or 2A>5CC>214A~CCCCC RC>2D lv3>2C>214A~C~B>5CC>j.B>j.D>5D>5CC>sj.B>j.C>j.B>dj.B>623C~D

untech time doesn't affects how hard is her combos, biggest problem is hitting at right height. Hardest things are PF>2D>2C, 5D>2C, 2C>214A~C~B and 5D>dash 5CC ender in long corner carry combos.

Or just practice bnbs on chars with stupid vulbox, like noel.

gdlk

though my fav is http://idol.sankakucomplex.com/post/show/269984 THAT ... TAIL! and other from this set.

I literally have no character devotion after CS. I just can't adapt to CSII like I want to but I only had 3 months to play it and I was aware that I wouldn't like Ragna changes or just his character in general. So a few days after of forcing myself to play a different Ragna I went ahead and picked up Hazama as a new main but couldn't produce the results I wanted. Wanted that Hazama swag and would be upset with myself if I have never attempted to play the character, Hazama turned out to be quite fun but his Extend version is not all that amusing as it's TK this, TK that, don't forget to do this TK right here too!!!! Plus his swag is all gone as I can anticipate his next few attacks or links in one combo, he lost the versatility.

Now if you were paying attention I was a Ragna main at first, rush that shit down with all tools available at all times. I miss the feeling of RTSD, I was stuck between Makoto and Tsubaki but Tsubaki has her flaws which makes her bad as an overall character....even if she did win SBO last year, seems like Hima just threw the match because during casuals Kuresu was being bodied a few days after. Back to the point of things, I want that Makoto swag.

I only played the character for a week back in CS during her first release date but I believe I can tap into her power with some more practice, hope you don't mind me joining the crew for Extend.
