reading twitter right now is like torture.

I dont get my copy till Tuesday. I just bought some of the recent Arcadia magazine issues so some information from those are starting to leak into the community.

6b is still +1. haven't seen much else. Just kazu was complaining about 2a and 2b. But I don't think either has changed, just old news.

There's plenty of errors this time around too it seems. Haven't looked around much but lot of carl problems apparently.

What you've all been waiting for: Frame data! :toot: I can't release the scan themselves but they are being translated. Here's the frame advantages since I know that's what most usually look at among the other info and it's the only thing I know I can read for sure :vbang:. If the move is not listed, it's because it's the same from Extend:

5BB: -5 > -8

2C: -6 same (head invincibility 8-14 (EX: it was 7-14))

2CC: -10 > -13

6C: -15 > -12

3C: -13 > -12

3CC -26 > -18 (has head? invincibility 1-17 now)

Counter Assault: -24 > -20

Crush trigger: +2

Working on specials.

236A/B/C/D: -7/-13/-13 /-4 > -5/-7/-9/-3

214B/D: -7 (both) > -8/-4

214B/D (follow-up): -7 (both) > -17/-6

22B: -5 (normal)/-5 (charged) > -6 (normal)/-4 (charged)

22D: -7 (normal)/none > -4 (normal)/+8 (charged)

*the follow-ups and the charged follow-ups are the same*

623C: -17 (no invincibility) > -21 (1-10 invincibility)

623D: -9 (1-10 invincibility) > -21 (1-14 invincibility)

[4]6D > 236D seems to have some kind of invincibility from 1-28 frames

236236C/D: -22 same (invincibility 1-14; (EX: 1-11))

214214D: +3 > none

632146B: no frame adv but she has invincibility from 16-59

Astral: frame adv is the same but has invincibility from 1-29 (EX:1-18)

Ground Aura Charge has seems to have some kind of invincibility from 1-28 frames

Projectile, presumably, since we've seen it blow right through all kinds of those.

Glad they improved the D DP a bit.

Overall, kinda meh. Seems like once again they swirled around a bunch of stuff with no clear purpose. I suspect that very few of these frame advantage changes were made for the purpose of changing frame advantage, and moreso with the purpose of changing recovery for combo routes. Nice of them to further nerf 5BB, as if it weren't crappy enough already... and yet they do it in a fashion that's mostly irrelevant due to charge cancels. Buh. No sense is made by this.

Sadly no. If I'm reading it correctly it's still the same. Looking through it this can generally be said for a lot of her normals actually (in terms of startup, active and recovery)... the only one that seems to have changed is 2C/2CC, 3C/3CC, j.A and j.C. Her specials are different though that's probably because of how they re-worked her movelist.

Long live 623C~ Now it has the same invinc frames as our D variation did in EX which is fantastic.

Any elaboration on this ground aura charge invincibility? You mean 5/2D?

That's the part I'm not sure about actually... I think they're the same but in the EX mook it said, for example 5D, total 18~50F, but in this one it just says total 18 / total 14 (in OD).

Derp it's [4]6D > 236D. I should have used the notation but my head started spinning after comparing numbers from the scan and the wiki for a bit. I'll edit my post since I remember it now aha.

623C active frames are supposed to be through the roof. why it's not punishable if someone blocks it high in the air.

It's [4]6D > 236D.

As for the recoveries of 5D/2D they're probably both the same except lessened in OD? I am mainly interested in j.D since it seems to have non-existent recovery judging by this

Seems I answered my own question. Guess the only thing I would really be interested in right now is how much landing recovery j.D has.

EDIT: So basically, in OD charge cancels done off 2B/2BB/5BB are -1 5B/5C are +2 and 5CC +4

The thing that's going to hurt us the most in CP as opposed to extend is most likely going to be the 5BB reach and frames change.

It's a subtle thing but it's just going to ruin people who doesn't adjust properly.

5bb attack level is nerfed, I'm pretty sure

Makes sense since going from lvl 3 to 2 is a reduction of 3 frames of blockstun.

Guess we can assume 2CC got the same treatment...but that hardly matters.

EDIT: Do 236B/C still have 10 active frames? it would mean at max range 236B is +3 and 236C would be +1.

236A only has 6 active frames but would also be +1 at max range...but I always found that kind of hard to judge(the range :V).

I would post about her drives but there's a lot of notes for it and I don't want to get something wrong. The notes for 5D/2D are the same while j.D is different though.

Yea, 5BB attack level is now 2 instead of 3. 2C and 2CC are now lvl 4. There's a note for Tsu's active frames on 623C that says ”画面外まで” which if I'm reading it right means "till off-screen" or something like that soooo yeaaa

EDIT: Gah I read the wrong column I'm sorry, that's a sign I should stop looking at the pages for a bit: 236B is 8 active, 236C is 10 active. 236A is still the same. If anyone caught my other edit that was the recovery which they lessened from EX.

Thanks, so max range 236x on block is +1 for all except D.

I think it was mentioned that recovery behaves like Ragna's HF now. Same static diff whether you hit instantly or late.
