Errol Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Damage and prorations were posted months ago Deadron
Surf Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 But isnt it the bonus each time a D move is used for the first time in Mugen. Like using 46D~236D will net a bonus from both specials, but wont the second time their used. But I wonder if the aura is counted as well.
Errol Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 you get 1 bonus when you first use an attack generated by pressing the D button while in Mugen, including 236236D. Just one.
Surf Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 What kinda gay crap is that. Why is she getting 7k from 2 charge combos then. Or is 46D~236D just THAT GOOD.
Errol Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 the charge special is like a single attack that does 2k damage and has a 93 P2. Yes, that is good. Not far from shit like Jayoku
Kiba Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 That flood of Tsubaki matches haha. I forgot to say but thanks PK for catching the earlier matches I didn't even realise I missed them even though I linked the Valk parts! Beberu is quite decent, nice to see him play, and you see Kuresu use combo > j.214C > charge cancel into dash 2A crossup. Minor but it's something since the opponent is right next to you.
Lamme Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 (edited) New BB player, new "anime" fighting game player and a new Tsubaki player here wondering what I'm doing wrong with the BnB combos which I seem to get in training mode but as soon as I go play against CPU's they just recover or escape somehow before the combo is over. (Example combo in corner: throw > 236C > 214C > 22B > 6B > 236236A) Same happens with every combo that I've found on the wiki and on other places. I'm currently trying to beat Hazama (last boss in arcade mode) but because I don't have any longer combos that could keep him still for longer than a second I end up getting hit from him way to much edit: I did not have any problems with combos with Noel for example, and I could even mash out random moves and got much longer combos which gave me an easy victory. Kiba Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Hello and welcome to the Tsubaki boards. Corner throw > 236C > 214C will not work, you have to use 214B. You can also use 214A. So the full combo would be: Corner throw > 236C > 214B > 22B > 6C (not 6B) > 236236C What other combos are you having trouble with?
Lamme Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Sorry that's what I meant I'm still getting used to the new notations lol. But here's another one 6A > 5CC > 6BB > 22C > 6C > 236C > 214B > 22B. On the wiki it says that it should do [2271 damage] damage but I usually end up getting around 1600. I think it's something to do with the last 3 moves, I'm not sure how to time the 214B after 236C. Also just to clarify, for example 6BB, does it mean that you press 6+B then (5/neutral)B, or are you supposed to hold down 6 and input BB in a rapid succession?
Kiba Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 (edited) No problem. Regarding that 6A combo, the damage really depends on the ender that you use with it. That particular combo should do 2.1k though, and you're meant to input 214B immediately after 236C, otherwise the combo will result in a blue beat (meaning your opponent could have teched out of the combo) Regarding the 6BB you are correct. Both of those options will work, so you can use whichever method you feel more comfortable with. However, you do not need to input it in a rapid succession if you're using it for a blockstring for example because Tsubaki can delay her gatlings for frame traps. So you can wait for about a second before inputting the followup. Edited March 27, 2013 by Kiba

Aye, for moves like 6BB, it doesn't actually matter which direction you are pressing when you push the second B, because the only B move you can go into from from 6B is 6BB. It's 'cleaner' to go back to neutral after the first 6B, but not required. Not sure how you can only get 1600 damage out of that combo - maybe try letting 6C hit a little more before cancelling it into 236C? There really shouldn't be much room for leeway though. Certainly not enough to make a 500ish point damage difference.
FatalCounter Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 (edited) Kiba (TS) vs Zoular (RA) This guy Zoular, is he new to Blazblue? or maybe he didn't play Blazblue for a long time. I guess Rachel is so hard to play though. Because he was doing so basic Rachel combos and was eating anything, not like TempestDelhia aka Howling_-_Moon who bodied everybody during the last online tourney. I saw some Errol Makoto get destroyed so fast by him. lol Edited March 28, 2013 by FatalCounter
Kiba Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 (edited) Nah Zoular isn't new to BB. Edited March 28, 2013 by Kiba
EXonestar Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Nah Zoular isn't new to BB. TD and Howling Moon are the same person btw. Kiba (TS) vs Zoular (RA) TempestDelhia aka Howling_-_Moon Zoular just picked up Rachel seriously recently. So he's Just Smoothing out the edges ~
Kiba Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Ha to edit my post. I thought I saw 'or'. Hate responding on my phone lol.
EXonestar Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Them touch screen IPhone errors >:3 But yeah, Zoular's rachel is doing well, he just needs more MU experience, Hopefully TD takes him to a mountain for some GG's ;o
FatalCounter Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 (edited) I understand. Is there an "important BB community in London or UK, I don't know? Edited March 28, 2013 by FatalCounter

Minutes Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Ugh I'm SO BAD at the IAD stuff DD: I almost always drop the combo at the point where you're landing from the j.CC and do a 5C on the ground (meaning my IAD is too late, right?)
pktazn Posted March 29, 2013 Author Posted March 29, 2013 Actually it's the opposite. It feels weird when learning it but try to delay the j.CC for as long as you can. I can almost guarantee that once you get the timing down though, you'll be able to get it pretty much any time.
