Emjay Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 I guess I should post this here too: Transcription of the vid: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19144188/BBCSE_LambdaComboExhibition.txt The "char specific stuff"-spreadsheet I made:
HexaNoid Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 2366D? 236C > Micro-dash 236D. You can see him do it here. I'm guessing due to spacing/hitboxes, a normal 236D won't work on the entire cast.
Emjay Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLD5NMXMv4M&hd=1&t=2m8s Midscreen midcombo 236C > 236D needs a dash before the 236D to connect on most characters. The 236D needs to be input immediately after you recover from 236C. So to get a dash in there while still doing the wheel as early as possible, you use the 6 input at the end of the 236 as the first 6 of the dash and then just press 6 once more to get a dashing 236D.
Phaiyte Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 I really wish 6C wall slamming on counter hits would make a come back. I would no sooner die of too much happy.
worldjem7 Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 3C is non-emergency techable on Counter Hit now right? So wouldn't something like this work? From midscreen into the corner 3C CH > 236C > 66 > 5C[x8] > 6C > 236C (in corner now) > dash under > 4B > 2DD > j.214D > 5DD > 6DD > 2DD > air D combo > j.6246D 6160 damage 45 hits ending super may not be available from 0 heat Tested in CS2 and everything combos right except for the 3C > 236C because it's emergency techable in cs2.
HexaNoid Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 I doubt that would work since the repeat proration on Cavalier wrecks our combos now. If you could adjust it so you only have to use one Cavalier, then you could probably get it to work though. Also, I'm not sure if 3C(CH) > 236C works, but I know 3C(CH) > 236D > 236C does.
worldjem7 Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Well, I set the training dummy in CS2 to not emergency tech and I was able to hit him before he could normal tech, so that's why I thought it would work. And actually, if the frame data is the same for move startup, Cavalier is actually faster than Sickle Storm. I think you can still do double cavalier or double 6C in a combo, just not both in the same combo.
toanenadiz Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 (edited) CH 3C->236C works. I'm at work right now so I can't test that combo yet but I'll try it out if no one else does so before I get home. Edit: Couldn't get it to work. It could be because of 3C's 70 P1 and the fact that it has two Cavaliers. Or it could always just be that my execution is ass. Edited January 9, 2012 by toanenadiz
Nedel_3773 Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Also, I'm not sure if 3C(CH) > 236C works, but I know 3C(CH) > 236D > 236C does. 3C CH cannot be emergency teched on the first 3 hits only. If you land 4 hits of 3C, 236C/D will blue beat.
Overheat Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 I calculated TK's P2 to be 89 or 90, but I'm thinking it's 90 now. I found Cavalier's RMP to be 40, so if you want to do an optimal combo (lol), it's not going to be used twice.

Why not change that 5C > 6C 236C into 5C > 6C > 236D? Well I don't have extend so I'm not sure if it will work, but anything with 236D in it, in my experience, becomes a pretty good combo.

BeaverDeity Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLD5NMXMv4M Not sure if this was posted before but it gives a lot of insight into how Lambda's moves work in combos now. Stuff->Cavalier->Wheel now works on non-CH depending on the combo, it seems. 3C CH (First couple hits cancel) into wheel looks like it works as well.
lolokoa Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 (edited) Opponent is too high for 236D to hit after 6C. it can though you need to slightly near the corner after that you could 214D~C>214D>4B>Crescent>6DD>Aerial also found this laying around youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITP6iWnwut8 dat Cavalier>dash>5DD>4DD>4B>Crescent>6DD>Aerial looks weird lol Edited January 13, 2012 by lolokoa

Overheat Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Thanks for that. I wasn't aware they had her specials as well. I think some of their values are wrong though, so I'm going to double-check a few moves. I'll post here later tonight or tomorrow.

AchedSphinx Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 new CV showing Gravity-less Combos http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLSFEQAdiT8 I saw a blue beat. I'm curious if that means it's impossible to tech out of it or that combo is useless if they emergency tech.
HexaNoid Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 I saw a blue beat. I'm curious if that means it's impossible to tech out of it or that combo is useless if they emergency tech. Blue beat combo. Well usually if an opponent emergency techs 3C > 236D they'll get caught in Sickle oki, so I think he just did that to show you how to combo off that if someone decides not to tech.
someonewhodied Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 @_@ Airthrow is 100% startup proration? O_o AND SO IS 6C? This is gonna require a few strategy changes.
Overheat Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 lol, 100 P1 doesn't matter if the move's P2 is bad (for a starter). It lists it as 100 P1, 55 P2, so it hasn't changed (if they didn't make an error).
someonewhodied Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 I know. Im just saying i need to start air-grab countering more. Iunno how to work 6C starters though.
