WinButton Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 I played AC survival mode about a day after I first got it with Slayer. I had realized that the AI seems to not guard Pilebunker 214P so I just abused it. I got to level 100 after finally losing to black Millia and felt thoroughly disgusted in myself. My problem is I have played so much SC3 where you abuse anti-AI stuff just because the AI is a psychic at breaking throws and guard impact that I just can't play against AI the way I would a human being. I have been programmed not to. On that day I swore I would unlock the EX's by time release from doing practice mode and bypass Survival altogether. Then I heard Gold Sol has permanent DI. I just can't wait to abuse combos ending in DI 623H so I guess I am going to go back to it.
Blade Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 You know....EX Order-Sol isn't that hard to unlock in AC+...he has the same D.I. Volcanic Viper as a Forcebreak now. 10 hits. Just wait till you get AC+ man. It's not that hard.

WinButton Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 over 9000 WHAT 9,000!!1 There is no way that can be right? Anyway yeah I tried again and just did some basic Jam combo's (like my new fav S H 236236H 236K *if you can do 236k three times it does 183 damage instead of 151*) and proceeded to annihilate everyone until I fought Black Millia with her super which does like 98% of a health bar. I tried again with Slayer and just whored 6H and 214P until Black Eddie who killed me with his drills of doom. Want to know the sad thing people? I was playing on GG MODE and I tried to IK him like 5 times (GG must have been sooo broken)! Not even my ultimate cheese tactics could defeat that shadow. It bugs me when I used Zappa and incorporated all the knowledge I have learned about the character I got to Black Chip... Yeah I am definitely going to stick with the time release method. After I become a unstoppable beast I will come back to survival for lolz.

ShadowDioK Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 ive not been playing AC+ long but i got to 856 with johnny in 56 mins managed to boost him pretty well had 10atk 5def 10spd and few extra tension n burst boosts but i made the mistake of grabbing the limit break ability and ended up being killed in 2 hits by gold order sol it sucked

Gold Slayer taught me that it doesnt matter how many attack and defense upgrades you have, as long as he heals over half his life with one overdrive. And 680 as Chipp, gold Baiken just thrashed me left and right. And now for some reason I cant seem to get past Black Kliff and his constant overdrive spamming and perfect use of FD.
Blade Posted April 21, 2009 Author Posted April 21, 2009 Food for thought: If you're stuck on a Gold/Black character and lose, sometimes you might wanna try playing against that character in Versus CPU mode or Training Mode at max difficulty. When done, you can set up your Parameters in Extra Options to what you had, and you can see where you went wrong more.

When done, you can set up your Parameters in Extra Options to what you had, and you can see where you went wrong more. say this to gold dizzy. got AC+ today, went to survival to unlock most golds, got to lvl 930, and lost to her wings of light, i even had max def, vamp form mist guard(made JO's MF a joke, and flame attack), this was of course with Sol 1:12:08 over 500 wins 930
excelence Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 have anyone try "Guard Beat" skill v Wings of Light? ... it'll makes shadow Kliff/I-No fight a lot easier, even when u accidentally got caught on their Tension Spam sure kill combos... and got hit By Justice Gamma Ray/Imperial Ray actually cause less damage than trying to block it if u got this skill... recent record... around 200 with Dizzy ... you can't mix up an AI

Sophisticat Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 AC+: ~590. Using HOS, got done in by a random EX Kliff. Had Berserk, Regen, and flame attack with 11 in atk, and about 7 in defense. The setup was insane, 6HS could kill a character in 2-3 hits, and a Gunblaze combo was enough to finish them in one. I don't think lv 999 is out of my reach. But then, I have yet to encounter any of the gold versions. AC: ~250. Much harder than in AC+, so I never got as far.
Devdan Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Just got to 680 (I think? Gold Baiken) with Eddie in AC+. The computer shouldn't be allowed to have super powers, they already cheat enough as it is. In AC the game says the best I've done is 295 with Zappa, but that sounds too low. I'm almost 100% positive I got to the second Gold Opponent...but I guess I didn't. In #REload I must've lost to Black Robo-Ky three times, which is a lot because I couldn't have played Survival more than 10 times.
Brother Bone Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Highest I got was 640, I think. Gold Venom. Had maxed attack and Thunder Attack with Ky, too, but we traded hits when we both had low life. Mine just didn't do enough. My friend got to Gold Savage Fang Sol with Anji, don't recall how far that was.
