Yea, its his Slash color set Slash button (color set 3). That's actually the color I am using as my main color now and was my main color in Slash.

In addition to the obvious old school XX black and red, I am also a big fan of Slash K button (blue), and reload K button (all white with gold scalpel)

How many color sets are there in all? From which games? And are there new ones?

This may seem like a silly question coming from someone who played "R" already, but does anyone know if it was mentioned in any posts how to select the new colors out of curiosity? You can toggle between color sets by pressing start, and there are 4 sets just like in console AC, but basically I was just wondering what colors the new colors replaced. Personally, I think Faust's new colors suck, and I checked all the ones I like and they are still there, so I was just sorta curious about what got replaced or if the new ones are selectable in a different way.

I'm guessing the two new colors replace Black and Gold (Set 3 and 4 Dust), and all the other colors are the same, just numbered instead of named.

I guessed wrong! Thanks for the correction.

Awesome info about Anji.

Any word on Kliff/Justice from people? They seemed decent in the Mikado vids, but if some of the guys in japan here had first hand experience seeing/fighting them it would be great.

Thank you sir, been waiting on Anji info for weeks. Sounds like he didn't change much from the loketests which is great. How much guard gauge was 5S cranking? It was originally set to 14 which if they left it is goddamn amazing.

I played a bit this morning. I don't know how much guard bar 5S builds up but it seemed pretty big. More than 2S if that can help you to compare. I payed more attention to P Kai on block this time and it actually didn't seem to have much more frame advantage, at least it was definitely not +5. I'm pretty sure it hasn't changed. 6S also seems to have more autoguard frames, I was able to catch more autoguards than usual while using it.

Although he got many buffs here and there Anji looks like he hasn't changed from AC and might look meh as a result because people can still play him like before so they naturally play him like before. I think it will take time until we see real new things because people just aren't forced to find new ways of playing. I believe many other characters look like that too right now.

Personally there are still very few changes that I have managed to add to take advantage of in my gameplay :

- 2D, and 6S improvements are good but I'm still using the moves as before.

- I use 3S cancel a lot more, that's one change I can feel and take advantage of pretty clearly.

- I started using 6HS and 3S a lot more in pressure strings and it's quite effective, also use them more often as autoguard baits.

- Only two changes are actually a little hindrance to me now, the FB shitsu increased speed and the new Aoi. I feel now a bit uneasy with FB shitsu okizemes at short range and I haven't got the timing to combo after Aoi yet.

So there are still many many things for me to find a use for, that will take some time to change my old habits since Anji can still do what he could do before...

Dream Maker, what about xx, 2D, S Fuujin->FB Rin on non-heavyweight? This part of standart Anji's combos works?

Any word from JBBS yet on final changes?

Or if someone can link me I can scan for some stuff (although it will be posted in Googrish).

Yeah this still works on all characters except Pot, Johnny, Order Sol, Robo Ky and ABA, just as before. I have no idea about Kliff and Justice though as I haven't fought them yet but if I remember well they are lighter than the characters I just mentioned.

As for changes, I don't think there is a definite list somewhere but IMO the info will most likely be updated on the GG wiki. I checked so far and only Eddie, Johnny and Bridget have had their change list edited recently. No way to know if there still is loketest info on their pages or not though, but it's likely that they have been updated with the changes of the final version.

Reaver. Game is fun as hell! New Faust is really good. I'm having a lot of fun learning all of the new matchups. There are definitely changes that were not reported in the last loketest, so I guess just wait till someone loss a complete official list. Probably won't be too long.

I think some of the BGMs in this game are from GGX? I heard "Suck a Sage" play for Chipp and could swear it's an older version of the song.

Edit: NOPE it isn't.

Faust didn't change much as far as he plays, but all of his changes are pretty much subtle buffs that all add up. The biggest thing that I think makes him more powerful is his item buffs.

New dumbell item comes out fast, does tons of stun and knocks down on any hit

New coin controls tons of space and gives you flaming swat till end of round

New mini Robo-Ky now flies out farther, and if it lands behind the opponent it runs at them from BEHIND meaning your opponent is stuck between Faust and the min Robo-Ky. So many great setups from this and there have been so many times when opponent got hit while comboing me or had to stop their combo to block or avoid mini RK

The big sink/wash tub item now TRACKS, so it falls wherever they are standing. Very hard to avoid unless they stop whatever they were doing and move right when they see it thrown. So many times has this counter hit characters trying to set stuff up like Zappa with Ghosts or Dizzy with fish/garbage

All his other items are good as ever.

Another thing I never posted before was for his baseball bat follow up to scalpel pull, it now wall sticks which makes it pretty hard to combo unless you are near the corner (which you most likely wont be if you are using scalpel pull)... this I mentioned. The thing I didn't mention was that the baseball bat followup is now a NORMAL special move and not a force break. Meaning, that the TNT explosion only costs 25% to do now.

I mentioned FB door and said it isnt good to spam. This is true, but it can be used to punish things from full screen on reaction!

All of the other changes I posted previously are all little things that help. Faust isn't like WAY better and I doubt he is going to be top tier or anything, but I am happy with him and his new tools are all really fun.

I also never mentioned that untechable time on jumping dust is longer, so you can get a knock down off of air combos from higher up now and get that okizeme game going again.

I posted a list of some changes here http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?15069-GG-AC-R-Video-Discussion-Thread!&p=1395052&viewfull=1#post1395052

This game is great. I hope everyone plays it a lot when it comes out on console!

Elvenshadow : thanks for the details on Faust's changes. So his items were indeed buffed. Didn't notice what was stronger while fighting him but his zoning game with items definitely felt stronger in general.

Also did you notice any increase in stun on Faust's pull combo ? I got caught in it once and my character portrait was flashing red when he finished. I don't remember if I got hit by a few hammers before but it definitely wasn't flashing red when he started to pull me in.

I don't think Faust's scalpel pull had the stun changed but I guess it could have been (?). My gut says probably not but I guess we will find out when an official list is posted.

By the way. I am happy to answer any questions about any other characters or in general if people want to post them in the thread. I don't know everything, but I played the game all day Saturday and Sunday and a bit on Thursday. The only characters that I have not fought against yet are May and ABA.

It's not the pull in itself that I suspect has a stun increase but the combo that follows (knee into big slap in the air). Don't know the previous stun value though so I may be wrong.

Is there any word on any possible official change list/notes, or a guide book?

Initial Kliff and Justice impressions?

Thanks.

I haven't heard anything about an official guidebook or change log. I'm sure someone will eventually post all of the changes though.

Kliff impressions: I only fought one Kliff player but I played against him maybe about 6 times. I think we went 3-3 or something like that. I really do not know how to fight this character yet. His long reach attacks really catch you off guard sometimes. The move where he pole vaults on his sword is hard to block and also caught me off guard a lot. I'm not quite sure if it can cross up or if there is a specific way to block it yet. When he does that air move where he falls straight down and stabs his sword on the ground, after the initial sword hit, there is also an impact radius ground hit that also got me a few times. Watch out for that. It seems like he can be punished if you avoid it though. His super disc thing has really long range and is pretty fast. Hit box is annoying sometimes and stuff will whiff against him. He does pretty good damage in general. This particular player was doing pretty well against other people. Overall, I think he seems pretty good. It's hard to tell because its so early.

I fought 2 Justice players. One of them was Mike (the famous Jam player). He had like a 30 win streak with Justice against various random people. I only fought him once and came within like a hit of beating him on my only try. Mike says that he thinks Justice isn't that good but is having fun messing with him and will probably stick with Jam. Mugen told me he thinks Justice looks strong. I asked Mike about his thoughts on the 100% tension "install" super and he says he never even used it once. He thinks its a waste of meter and that Justice's other supers are way more useful. I would agree. Fighting him just feels like running through a big obstacle course of slow moving missiles. Kind of like playing a bullet hell shooter but not really. Once you can get past the bit wall of missiles, the match didn't seem so bad. Justice can convert big damage off of random missile hits and he can also combo into existing missiles already on screen pretty easily. He has a lot of solid looking normals. His sweep is especially a good poke. Fast and long range. The other Justice player wasn't as good as Mike but he seems to be enjoying the character. Overall I think Faust will do fairly well against Justice because he has a lot of tools to get in with teleport variations, air force break pogo, and the right items at the right time. Faust can't really poke justice through all of those missiles though. I really want to fight this character more since I only had 2 matches total. Maybe just jumping into his missiles and slash backing them to get rid of them like I often do against Testament's old phantom soul would work, but I think they are multiple hits so it would probably be difficult. Once again, it is too early to tell how good Justice is, but I don't think he will completely suck.

Didn't dizzy have a force break fish? What is it? I desperately want her old H laser back in some capacity, but I guess I will have to see what's up with the new fish.

Somewhat off-topic, all things considered, but this thread is basically the hub for all things new in Guilty Gear and it doesn't seem worth it making a new thread when the console release had been discussed at length prior to AC+R anyway.

Accent Core Plus for PSN/XBLA has been confirmed for a release date of October 24th in Japan.

https://twitter.com/Yamanaka_ARC/status/250120591221338112

For those of you that can't buy the Japanese version, I believe Yamanaka says in response to another tweet that they're planning for a simultaneous worldwide release, but that there might be some formalities to deal with regarding distribution that might slow the U.S. and European releases.
