Also, real talk, we're looking at December for US PSN. If you have the PS2 copy and are considering buying it off JP PSN, I urge you to wait. The netplay isn't worth shelling out the extra money for a yen card and it'll make US sales figures look worse.

I've been playing on the PSP, quietly waiting for the PSN version. If it's not in there this week I give up waiting. I have a friend in Japan that will get me the cards at cost (he'll charge anybody else, don't bother asking.) I want to support the US release but this is getting ridiculous.

I've been playing the PSP version too. It gets frustrating when you aren't friends with a D-pad. I've had money on my PSN account for a few weeks waiting-- fighting the urge not to use it on something else.

I'd say usually some time between 5-8pm Eastern. But I wouldn't get your hopes up too much.

Is this confirmed real talk or speculative real talk? I wouldn't be surprised if you were right, just want to know if I should keep my eyes peeled each week or just wait until next month to check again.

Well, I filtered for stuff new in the last 7 days and found some CoD stuff and some 007 stuff (which indeed claim 11-13 as the drop date). Followed that up by searching for Guilty (which now doesn't even show the PSP version of the game anymore. And searching "GG" is impossible so it's not listed that way.) And followed THAT up with showing all PS3 games with a Fighting Game filter. Unless I'm just failing to use the miserable interface supplied by the new PSN, or it's for some reason hidden off in a dark shameful corner somewhere, it didn't drop this week.

Not that hard to make jp account and buy codes from japan-codes, then buy the game from jp store. pretty much everything is in english anyway.

New PSN store has a terrible design. IMO the old one was much better. Loads faster too. The new one is ridiculously slow. Searching for stuff now also seems so inefficient.
