combos and counters

yea but this hakumen apparently didnt know the meaning of "Press D" -- you can imagine how that went once I adapted -- his entire game plan consisted of double high jumps and trying to punish stein placements.....

Wait... Isn't that usually the better kind of playing style against Mu? Double high jumps instead of IAD to mess up Mu's AA's and approaching when Mu sets steins because she is the most open? The better Hakumen i play only using his drives only to stuff Mu's oki's and unsafe rushdown approaches and strings, because otherwise i will simply bait or throw them out of the counters

^Thats a joke right??

maybe if you dont know how to adapt? I cant understand how "one playstyle" could ever be effective against such a versatile char like Mu - who can practically do anything she wants

I can simply outzone Hakumen online without worrying about his counters or combos though.

Also setting steins is usually safe because of the jump or special cancels, but it's still the moment when Mu is open the most unless she has a whole bunch of steins covering her

I fear for your safety when mAc gets on PSN....

The CP approach with zoning and footsies so far worked great against more than 3/4 of the Hakumen that i played in the last 2 months though. No idea how Mac plays, because i am not from the US

The Only Hakumen

Edit : well i suppose what I really mean is he is the only haku player that doesnt fear the match up and consistently strives to adapt and overcome the difficulties Mu players can represent -- in short -- the vast majority of others are weak/afraid to fight -- he just isnt -- given enough time he adapts to your style and makes things very difficult -- so high amounts of variance are recommended.

That means that this tactic probably doesn't sound like a good thing against Mac chaos :p

Also i don't think i have seen a single same playing style as Mu online, because she is so versatile

edit: of course i adjust my playing style as well on how aggressive a player is. Otherwise i would be simply auto pilotting Mu :p

Mac is like the borg - set your phasers on variating patterns but eventually it just does nothing

and <3 Mu-12's delicious variance

Then i should also blame the lack of any really good netplay Hakumen in the EU for that experience then, eventhough i sometimes stay up late in the night and see some other Hakumen players from the US but they usually fall for the same zone and footsie strategy

People give Mac so much respect. Why can't you guys realize how free he is?

says the guy sporting a Mac Chaos quote

dont pretend your not hard for him

Damn, not in the US. I was getting excited to play bakahyl.

Understanding the power of D doesn't prevent someone from being free

dont make me throw you

Even if i was not from the EU, i am unable to play Blazblue because of the Date a live: Rinne Utopia visual novel that is probably costing me a whole week to finish

GGs @ various

Special ggs to thunderbolt -- those games were exciting ! I don't think you've ever had that effect on me before...

Shout outs @ rage quitters and Soul-6-Ookami for losing a set then kicking me then msging me excusing his loss due to lag.... I am literally the first person to bitch about lag - so this was funny -- not to mention when does lag ever affect hakumen anyways -- anyways pal- your were a half decent warm up~

Best games tonight go to thunder ( can't believe I just said that..)

You must have played the worst games of your life before I got on.

So your PS3 keeps freezing? Does it seem like it is overheating?

GGs to the few that tolerate my poor net while on leave, we'll just have to make up the matches after I'm back at my destination again. *sniffle* the military...I seriously want to go AWOL after these two years of hell. Someone pull some Endless Eight bullshit for me while I still have the chance.

Do me a favor and try not to spit on my compliments k? I dont hand them out often~ And I say what I mean-- I rarely sugar coat things to spare ppls feelings -- instead Ill usually say nothing

no i think its a disc reading error-- as it only has this issue when its loading after i pick a character or after a match ends completely
