GGs to Jakeblaze today. Yes, I'm relearning Lambchops and have been working on my mixups lately.

Shoutouts to a big ass house centipede in *MY* sink after I cleaned the kitchen. Then freaking out and trying to kill it with slipper, only to fail.

That centipede was top tier. :o

I'm as ready as I am to play anyone else on here.

Play me today Star.

He's shit.

-___-I never implied he was the best. I always considered Lost Soul the best Tager. I just had trouble dealing with his shenanigans last night.

He said he still uses Tager from time to time. Actually, I haven't seen him on BB much either. :/

I am planning on opening a room tomorrow for BB.

I hope you guys can enjoy a 6 slot 1 spectator room.

I wanna do a little special.

Well, I went online for the first time today.

Some guy using Litchi perfected me. Twice. At this rate I'm just going to drop this game like I did MvC3.

Sigh...I don't really feel like I'm learning anything. Oh, and lag fucked up all of my techs so he kept getting blue beat combos on me.

His name was bbboyz3, whoever the hell he was.

You are worried about Litchi?

Go fight a competent Arakune and then you will have a legitmate reason to quit playing.

Lol wow.

I just checked and I'm literally at the bottom of the Lambda rankings. There isn't anyone below me.

Even the game itself thinks I suck.

It was your first day. Don't be so hard on yourself. Wait I read that wrong. You just played one game and since you lost logically you will be at the bottom.

If lag was a factor, don't be hard on yourself. Lag tends to screw everyone over once in a while, including me.

Shoutouts to Sasukii for hatemail and bitching over a laggy match he could have AVOIDED if he disconnected from me. Then called my Mu shitty when I managed to pull through despite that lag. Then started bitching over me running into him again in ranked even though I didn't mean to.

In the words of Gordon Ramsay..."F*CKING DONKEY."

Ranked. Also I'm the second from the bottom on the overall ranking boards.

It's not really that I got beat so badly that makes me feel like shit, it's the fact that I basicaly didn't know what to do at all. Even the three--I counted--times I was able to make an offense I just sat there, unsure of WTF to do and took another hit.

I practice all these combos in training mode...and then I suck in a real match because I don't know spacing/zoning/etc.

Well like I said above. You only played once, so you have to be at the bottom since it's your first match. You just got put into the rankings so idk why you were sad about being at the bottom.

It is pretty important to know how to actually create and continue your offense while keeping up a good defense. I can't help you with any of your characters that you play, but you can visit the character forums and get help there. At least you understand that it takes more than combos.

Everyone starts somewhere. If you play against people who have been playing BB for years, it's fairly obvious that you're going to get crushed. I would recommend playing with people near(slightly above if possible) your skill level to build on things like hitconfirm, mixups and etc before taking on the tougher opponents since being stuck in the corner for the whole match getting bodied isn't a good way for you to learn how to play the game.

Regardless though, just keep at it and if you keep a good attitude about it, you'll improve in no time.

Oh and it helps if you have a good mentor for your main to give you ideas on what you should focus on first. Check the character section for your main and see anyone with a decent connection to you is willing to take you under their wings.

That's why you play more matches. Figure out where you are losing and find your options. Don't make the same mistakes. Once you realize your options in nearly every situation you can finally start playing the game instead of scrubbing out every match.
