I know it's A but the standards for every school are different or so I've heard since I never got one straight answer to this. For some people, 90-100 is a 4.0 and some 94-100 etc. That's why I asked.

93 or 94-100 is usually what it comes down to in most colleges, at least that is the standard in America.

Primary/secondary schools vary. My high school, for example, had a 7 point grading scale. (I hated that shit, even if I did get a 3.97 with it.)

Don't know if that's true. I didn't think so anyway. Rather, 90 is an "A", but that's meaningless because it's actually an A-, which is actually a 3.6 and not a 4.0. Still need 93/94+ to get a 4.0...
