Come on, lag affects me as much as it affects you. If I could do that 5.8K 5B CH Miracle Jean combo in that huge lag spike then I think you could do most of anything Jin has to offer lol.

The number of times I tried to DP when you ran towards me during pressure and the game said no... I got robbed of so many fucking matches. Lag making me drop fucking j.C>j.214A...

I'd have to say that's Moy's defense coming into play. He can block (most of the time, he just can't block Ragna's 6B, LOL) pretty well, so maybe it's the way you're applying pressure, maybe you're being repetitive and he's able to see where you're coming from.

Lag will happen when you're in Cali and the other person is in Indiana.

Honestly, you shouldn't let anything that happens in netplay get you bummed out, I mean seriously, P4U comes out in 6 days.

I can't neglect my Jin. With some people I play nothing but Jin and with others I play nothing but Plat. Gotta have a good balance and not let Plat show up as my main on my D-Card. I want a fancy military rank title for my current level lol.

@Shin - I don't know why I can block Rag's 6B against Ethereal like nothing but when I played you I only managed to block a handful of those lol.

As for blocking Jin's stuff, well, he's not a character that opens people up unless he has meter. Other than that, I can block the cross-ups and all that crap like nothing lol.

I'm one of those guys he picks Plat. We both hate fighting each other with Jin, hence I use Ragna/Mu against him LOL. Also, we need to play more Moy, on my new net, our connection was pretty damn good!

@ Moy: I try to throw out Ragna's 6B as inconspicuously as possible, and during times when it's hard to see it coming (ex. Dead Spike > RC > 6B).

You block my 6B's because I use them excessively. But I stopped with that since nineball, LK, and SKD block or jab me out of it so I've been messing around and figuring out how to open up people more effectively and not use 6B. It's fun

And SHinsyn you neeeed to play me. I was gonna get a match on garbage days account but that lag bomb happened.

I'm pretty sure it was a 2 bar because Starlight was hosting. If you or I were hosting, we would probably have a 4 (that's what if felt like to me, anyway). Either way, GG's from earlier, same with Starlight if I didn't say it earlier.

As far as that lag, I don't know how it let you redbeat that. I called bullshit on that, especially since it lagged during a point where you normally wouldn't press buttons (her item change). Yet if I try to do wallbounce combos you tech right out. Fuck netplay.

I was doing pretty well during the first 15 or so matches, except for the first rounds for some reason. I can't seem to start matches out well against you. I just got pissed off because of the sheer number of times I got robbed. Whether a combo drops, a DP fails due to input lag which causes you to get the last confirm you need to kill me, or other shit.

I actually was the least repetitive I've ever been against him in recent times... I got better, but Plat still beats the shit out of me. I get hit midscreen and lose nearly half of my life for it. What the fuck?

Persona 4 may come out then, but I'll be flying back to Florida temporarily for training as part of my job during that time. Won't be back home in Cali until the 10th. Shit sux. Honestly considering bringing my PS3 and buying a second copy of the game...

I might not be as salty if I could just sit there and block until I get a chance to hop right out or DP, but no matter how well I do with defense, I'm stuck blocking shit forever because I can't DP (thanks input lag) or I get fucking hit trying to jump out. I also get quickly pushed into the corner trying to avoid being put into Plat's blockstrings.

It's barely -9 on block, you'll have to be flawless on your 66 5A/5B input to punish that.

lol, I advance inputted the shit out of that combo. I always work on my execution in training mode when the connection is being shared here, so that too has something to do with it.

As for the latter, on the flip side, you did get free resets off of those dropped combos because when I pushed a button to punish, it usually came out a frame or two too late lol.

Yeah, your pressure was pretty solid and you're good at adapting (minus the predictable DPs lol).

That's Plat for you, she has a bunch of good P1 starters. Not mid-screen but near the corner, unless I have the meter to RC Mami.

I could tell, I was like "lol why is he doing random Ice Cars"? I'm not even gonna give you shit about that DC since you hold your losses until your breaking point (which is about a ridiculous number like 30+ matches).

It's easy once you get used to lag. I used to do Hazama's j.6D link combos in 0 bars with 99% success rate.

Yeah, man. Playing him in person is completely different than playing him online anyway. You should enjoy it. Besides, you'll have Nineball there too, looks like things are working out for him to come out to summer jam too. Ragna Mirrors all day man.

TBH, I don't rely on DP's so much, at least against Platinum. I usually do my best to space her out so I'm not in that situation because Jin's Range > Platinum's Range. also, I didn't hear anything about you using your other escape option (Counter Assault), if DP's aren't working, CA is the next best thing right? Just make sure you don't make them obvious or they will get baited.

lol, this guy from the Indy scene is a genius and gave me a good idea as to how to map my buttons in order to play Yukiko on pad.

A and B to R1 and L1. C and D to Square and X. Then have the rest as macros. If I map A and B to the front shoulder buttons, then I won't have to worry about awkwardly trying to slide my already busy thumb to the C and D buttons. Now if I wanted to hold, let's say C, and I wanted to have the freedom to still use D then all I would have to do is map these two in a diagonal line (Square and X).

lolololol, looks like I won't be having to learn stick any time soon again until I bust my pad.
