Didn't this happen when CS1 was coming out or something.

It's PSN or Blazblue servers?Because i don't have this problem with others games.

It's not just BB. I've read in other places that other people are having problems as well. Who knows what it is.

Yeah I was confused as to how I got "Room has been disbanded" in the character select screen. GGs. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong besides being free.

It seems like you don't drop combos that often so at least that isn't a problem.

One thing I noticed was that you didn't seem to do TK Gauntlet Hades much at all and that shit is basically unblockable on netplay, lol. It made it relatively easy for me to just block low and (try to) react to 6B since I didn't have to worry about TK GH catching me off guard. So I'd say your pressure isn't random enough in that sense.

The other thing is that you don't seem to do any "shenanigans" to throw people off. Like cross under type things or those whiff throw setups like I see SKD do.

It's like you have the same problem I do in that you just aren't "random" enough. It's not to say you are being predictable with your mixup / pressure, it's just that you seem to do things that you would expect people to do in those situations. Which is exactly why I feel like I do better when I just don't care and play to have fun instead of "playing to win" and trying to do the right things in each situation. Kinda hard to explain I guess.

You either have to play really solid or play in a way that people don't know what to expect next then make the most out of it.

What's this? Ranked Matches having better connection than Player Matches? I this real life?

And shoutouts to jumping from a PSR of 5 to 101 by fighting players of various PSR.

But melty is easier because you can use A+B to macro dash.

You can't really drop Ragna combos, but I guess I'll take that and be happy.

I have one shenanigan, but I rarely use it cause I'm afraid to mess it up. I should practice it more often.

TK GH is good, but generally whenever I can do that it's when people are poking back, so to just throw it out there doesn't always work. I could do it off 3C too, but I just didn't feel like doing it every other 3C. Gauntlet Hades in general I should use more, but I wish it was more like Order-Sol's Bandit Revolver. It's not really for combos. it just gets Sol back in there for more pressure. I rather have that personally.

Being random was never my thing and it's hard to know how to actively change to "Derp" mode and still actually have a gameplan.

^You should just try doing stuff in matches, it's not like it's a tournament final. You'll lose but eventually you'll get good at it.

psn just shat in my face. great.

also, l had the displeasure of tasting a lychee today. the shit was awful. worst dollar l ever spent. it was a nice pinkish-brown color though. if they didn't expire they'd make great decorations for the mansion house.

I don't like it either unless I'm doing it intentionally. But I don't think you necessarily have to go all-in with the randomness as much as it is just doing SOMETHING out of the ordinary occasionally so people don't really know what to expect. Like any hesitation from the opponent means you get a chance to take the advantage.

Just as an example, if I was to do d.5AxN for pressure and the opponent lets me, it means I'll be more free to do what I want since they could be scared to get hit for not knowing if I'm going to continue doing it again or do any regular mixup/pressure string. As soon as I see that a player plays more on the reserved side, I will go nuts with the pressure/mixup since they won't risk disrespecting me or if they do it will be rare. But if someone is just really good at blocking they can just sit there all day and wait til I go for an overhead/throw.

Another example would be throwing out 623B / j.623B / 3C. You throw it out every now and then people will tend to watch for it to either punish you or avoid getting hit. Cause if you get Fatal'd you'll probably second guess yourself at some point at neutral after that.

Or just play solid, lol. The easiest example I always refer to is comparing Dora's Bang to Minami's Bang. Minami tends to just play really solid and never does anything out of the ordinary, while Dora is....Dora.

Well I can definitely try to pay attention to reactions and do something unexpected then, but I don't think I could ever just "Dora" my way out of things.

adjust your grip. Kaeru2120 is very knowledgeable on the subject of sticks and execution

I use the "monkey grip" to hold my stick and it's what I find the most comfortable. I just need to grind the IAD motions. Still, nothing beats playing on the good ol' pad and I'll only be using my stick when playing Yukiko in P4A lol.

@Star - Tonight... you

Moy use your wrists for dashes.

That's what Mike Z told me and I stopped having those issues soon after.

I use my thumb/pointer finger... a lot less stress on the hands. lol Wrists seems like a lot of work.

Although, I don't know if that'll work with the monkey... grip... wtf is that noise. :V
