As DLC.

Unfortunately this...

Lol and a good portion of us are gonna buy her, because...She's fucking Kokonoe.

BlueFest is within 12 hours, something is coming.

The wheel of fate is turning

I don't know if it really matters if there is a button check in the character select screen. It looks like most people do in an in-game button check even then.

Rematch would be nice though.

Like, especially since every other fighting game has it and IT WAS IN GUILTY GEAR.

Removing content that was present before? What is this, Star Fox 3DS?

I think it the button check in the character select screen matters. I mean sure people go in a match and check them in match anyway but I don't think that means they should take it out. It does actually work, but I understand why people will check them in a match just to make sure, or even just loosen up a bit.

The re-match option would be nice. But as long as the loading times don't get longer I wouldn't mind if it's not in. Sometimes it's good to take a moment to breathe after a match. For some people anyway.

But do you really want to enter a game, set up your buttons, test them, go back to character select screen AND THEN finally play your match?

Actually, I think they could add a little to the button check on the character select screen. Maybe add a "test" option where it brings up a sprite of ragna or something and then you can see if your buttons actually swapped on him. That way paranoid people wouldn't need to button check in-game anyway. Then again, mostly a pointless option for un-paranoid people.

Plenty of people do an in-game button check even if you can set your buttons at the select screen. You don't want to start the grand finals and find out you forgot what icons meant what. Like in terrible button set up things like in Street Fighter or Marvel or KoF I think.

But the reason in Street Fighter and Marval you set up your buttons and test them is because you have to use < (left arrows) and > (right arrows) to assign things to make sure you have it right.

In BlazBlue, I am not sure what you are talking about about in-game button check being done by "plenty". Out of many games, I don't see anybody really doing in-game checks when it comes to BlazBlue. Because BlazBlue has the feature where you press the button to assign it to a move, instead of scrolling. Many people just set up their buttons the first time, use select to delete anything they don't want, and just run down the 4 main buttons (usually), once again re-inputting the same inputs to double check.

By people naturally doing a double check by re-inputting the button, shows their second time inputting the button configurations, making a sound and glowing effect, proves their buttons are working.

When it came to button settings, ArcSys did it right by making it where you input your buttons instead of scrolling to select like Capcom games. It theoretically gets rid of in-game checks.

I like button checks, weirdly. You get get a feel for the monitor pretty quickly there. I've never found them a chore. Just makes everything concrete with no worries.

Keep it.

I'd like to know how long each story will be; the fact that we only get three+the True Ending has me a little concerned.

Mori said that the whole story is going to be bigger than everything in the last two games combined.

This is going to be one hell of a story then. Unless it ends up like the CT/CS reconstructions in CSX because while I liked them an all they were just really long and kinda drawn out with the lack of battles. I kinda like a break from the talking sometimes lol

EDIT:

Watch this shit, hot off of Mori's twitter BlueFest 2012 Part 2

Hey, awesome, there are official mini-combo movies for the new characters. Amane's probably impressed me the most, while Bullet could certainly be more flashy. And Azrael is damn ripped in that victory pose, reminds me of Kenshiro.

At least I got a Bullet chibi in good quality.

Does anyone know what they said about Mikado sama near the end there, my Japanese isn't super good but from what I could gather it was either jokes about her being playable or something, no? Tsubaki sounded surprised at her answer so it must have been something other than a flat no lol

It is most likely just more typical "HMM MAYBE, MAYBE NOT" talk since they're never gonna outright confirm or deconfirm it right now.

@ Hecatom watch the video on the last page from nicovid.

his favourite character period is Noel.

UK Anime: Do either of you have a favourite Guilty Gear / Blazblue character to play with?

Daisuke Ishiwatari: It's Potemkin from Guilty Gear for me.

Toshimichi Mori: And Hakumen from Blazblue here.

Maybe he didn't understand the question.

It's at 11:45, to be exact.

Thanks

Been out of the loop... so, any confirmation on Imperator as a playable character?

I think that they confirmed that she wouldn't be playable

dunno whats going on with the breasts discussion, but i'll just say flat chest belong to lolis (aka mah rachel and platina), so noel and kokonoe are nature's atrocities :kitty:

I honestly hope they add Kokonoe, a Murakumo or even Linhua with Bang's subordinates as strikers as DLC content in a future :v:

... well, not the Murakumo. I am betting we'll get Xi-14 (or whatever the greek char is called now) as a sub-boss.
