Just because Amane's Astral Heat turns the opponent younger, it doesn't mean it turns them into babies automaticlly. Expect Hakumen, who doesn't have really have "young" self so they just went with the silliest idea they would think of.

I wouldn't describe Amane's Astral making people younger, even though it does seem that way. I would describe his Astral to be more "kawaiifying"/"moeful" instead of "babalities". When the trailer FIRST came out, I hypothesized that he transformed them into a time when they were significant. I thought Valkenhayn would look like his Seven Heroes look and Rachel would look like Phase 0. I was lost on what they were going to do on Hakumen and Tager. Phase 0 Rachel Alucard But based on this ability to change people's images at will, I'm very curious on his involvement in the story. Considering what we already know about his story, it makes perfect sense that he is just making them younger for his troupe. For whatever reason they just decided to make Hakumen look like that... I wanna see mah Rachel, fags and mah Tsubaki Tsubaki will probably have on the kimono outfit she has on during one of the flashback parts of the story, which is more or less the same scene where Jin's younger self comes from. I'm not quite sure on that. IIRC she mentions something about him being a 'demon' but it's never fully explained what the demons actually are.
