Cryingvoid Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 (edited) The majority who thinks that just want her to be playable because OMG KOKONOE UGUU XDDD imo. Given her actions, it just doesn't make sense for her to suddenly change her style of get bitch > make bitch fight. The only time Kokonoe's done anything herself was when she truly didn't have options left. Uri's spoiler-text is more likely, though it'd still be pretty lol. Hey auntie, yea you's mah bitch now, go beat people up with the power of healing! Not too less a reason to fight and be playable than with many others from cast. I think you guys are taking bb storyline too seriously thinking this much on whether it suits her to be a fighter or not. Its all for fun originally. Like some abstract anime story like say horizon in the mid of nowhere lolol Hilarious! That's the word. Edited October 1, 2012 by Cryingvoid
Mightfo Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 blah blah blah nobody gives a fuck if someone's story doesnt really make them fit for fighting, people just want characters they like to be playable. nobody cares about realism
Airk Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 nobody gives a fuck if someone's story doesnt really make them fit for fighting, people just want characters they like to be playable. nobody cares about realism Except that some people DO, which is why this argument keeps happening. Could it be any more obvious? I hope she never becomes playable, just to spite all you "It's a fighting game, so obviously all the cool people need to be playable" people. ;P

Oh god, even Blazblue's kudzu vine of a plot doesn't compare to Horizon's clusterfuck of a plot.

YukiBlue Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Until Kokonoe even shows a Modicum of a fighting style >>>IN GAME<<< Keep dreaming. It's not happening.
SoWL Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Until Kokonoe even shows a Modicum of a fighting style >>>IN GAME<<< Keep dreaming. It's not happening. She kinda almost uses magic in the Sector Seven route of BBEX. I was pretty skeptical before that, but now I do think that she might turn out to be a nice playable char.
Chaoschao222 Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 yeah, and that's retarded thinking story canon should determine who is playable is like saying "you shouldnt be able to have makoto and litchi fight because that isn't a battle that happened, especially not in <stage>!" or shit like "character strength should be based off story mode power". both of those things break story mode canon just as having a non-fighting character fight does. There's a difference between two fighters non-canonically fighting and a non-fighter fighting, the difference obviously being one's an oxymoron and one's not.
STenSatsu Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Given her parents, it's hard to think that she can't take care of herself. As far as story goes, Blazblue obviously attempts to take it more seriously than most fighters. What ifs are kind of pointless though. Mori obviously knows people want to play her from his interviews, but he's very vague about whether that will ever happen. Either way I'd say just don't assume she will be playable until she actually has dialogue about taking things into her own hands in a console version's story mode. As usually there is some foreshadowing as to which characters are going to become playable. (Outside of the CP characters due to going to an entirely new area.)

Chaoschao222 Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 the only reason either matter or that either is even "true" is because of canon.
AchedSphinx Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Well, I figure they'll throw them all in eventually. Chrono Phantasma is the last of the supposed trilogy right? They'll probably make every important character except the actual final boss a playable character. I honestly didn't think Makoto was a fighter because she was in the intelligence department, but when that cloak comes off everything changes...literally. But really, I was following what you guys were saying for a bit now, and I gotta say, the BB story seriously makes no sense. Ragna lost his arm, there were spare parts lying around the garage, so now he has a new one...how does that happen? Whatever, this is not really the story forum. I just hope Chrono Phantasma resolves these issues, namely by finding some spare parts around the garage to rebuild Lambda and give her a Mu wristwatch so that all the Mu players can feel happy
Cryingvoid Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Judging from his od's naming, his grimouire is replaced with idea engine planted into him by la/nu in csex ending. Guys worked stuff out beforehand.
Hecatom Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Chrono Phantasma is the last of the supposed trilogy right? It was already stated that BB would have more installments, is no longer a trilogy, plus "the trilogy" aspect of the story never took revisions in consideration.
Mightfo Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 It was already stated that BB would have more installments, is no longer a trilogy, plus "the trilogy" aspect of the story never took revisions in consideration. Are you referencing that interview where they said they were having trouble wrapping the story up in BB3 or something? Just wondering if there was other stuff that talked about this as well.

Just wondering if there was other stuff that talked about this as well. I don't remember what interview was, sorry. I only remember that they asked him if CP would be the last entry of the story of BB, and Mori said something like that BBCP was not the last entry, and that BB was no longer a trilogy, so we should expect some more entries (without counting any possible revision)

YukiBlue Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 I kinda had a thought,,, Lambda is dead kokonoe refuses to use magic all the while haz is speading his bukakie everywhere... im beinging to think kokonoe is going to take the spare parts of Lambda an a few more murokumos a build herself a battle suit. With this people get kokonoe, lambda players can stop crying, and Mu-12 players.... can get laughed at for maining a fraudulent character ^-^ You a assho
_rFX Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Hazama wasn't much for fighting either. He made due somehow...kekeke Personally, I hope they keep milking the series until it's a shriveled up husk. Hate to see a good thing die. Whether it's for the best or not. Not really in it for the plot anyway, so some last ditch makeshift ending isn't gonna bother me. Just want to see more of the characters. Always enjoyed the banter in BB.
STenSatsu Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Ya, they said something about not being able to wrap up the story in CP and that it would just be the end of the 6 heroes' storyline.
Akira-Shiro Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 In regards to kokonoe the story has already hinted at her fighting,, rachael said on multiple occasions to kokonoe that "What do you honestly think you can do with a little whined up doll like that (A-11)" then as hazama proceeds to break it he calls kokonoe an idiot for actually thinking that she would go somewhere with re-making lambda. An on another note after tager fought tsubaki he fought relius an was still under the effects of tsubakis Nox Nuctorus, an he got boddied extra hard by Sr.Relius. Then they cut to kokonoe an she was like "Shit Tager was beatin,, i didnt wana have to result to this but i guess iv been left with no other choice." an they showed a picture of her staning on this platform with what looked like a whole lot of those tanks lambda was stuck in,, it was literally thousands. All of which are people trying to tell her "Hey slut, get theis low tier bitches outta here and start throwing hands like a real man" lol

All of which points to kokonoe "He slut, get theis low tier bitches outta here and start throwing hands like a real man" lol Those things she's looking at in her ending scene are nukes. Thus why Hakumen can't stand her.
BladeOfJustice7 Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Those "tanks" you're referring to are nuclear missiles. Hakumen finds out about them as well, and berates her for even thinking of using them and storing them under her S7 base. She's stocked up on them as a last resort to kill Terumi. EDIT: Wow, I've never been ninja'd before...
Akira-Shiro Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 lol ur joking,,, lol "Shit if i cant win no body can, initiating global purging" lol kokonoe a sore loser
Chaoschao222 Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 It's not really global purging if they're all aimed at one individual... though I guess technically I don't know how large the Blazverse home planet is....
