I only know tidbits of the PS stories. @Zio - I mean BB has a pretty decent story but it gets a bit stale when pretty much none of the characters can die. Here they're talking about turning the world into "a world of the dead" yet none of the relevant characters will ever die lol.

"Tsubaki" at 1:10 of the Opening is drawn in the same style as the "character select" art (has the same shading and everything), but it's clearly not Tsubaki's "character select" art. Curious. Might mean nothing, but it is curious.

What matters is whether or not the information the audience is given through the story is engaging and relevant, which is something we can't confirm for BB:CP without playing. Also, I realize that good 'ol "plot armor" may be a tiresome aspect for some, but it's also nothing new. We see the same cliches and tropes play out in hundreds of video games, movies, TV shows, books, and plays, but the reason that some works can make them all "gel" together and be engaging lies in their execution. Whether Blazblue pulls that off, however, is open to discussion of course. I'll plainly admit its story is no tour de force, but it's also the only story from a FG I've given a crap about and become invested in (tried to with Soul Calibur and Street Fighter, and failed miserably). There isn't really much we can do until we get our hands on it. If Mu-12's reappearance does end up coming off as some contrived BS, well... then that blows. Can't know till then, though. Either way, I'm excited. I really hope they'll start releasing the new themes soon.

The only difference you can say is her outfit and that is hardly worth mentioning considering there is no context for that image. We don't need another "Tsubaki" in the game when there are more unique characters that can still be added and I'm not just talking about their possible playstyles.

Who's to say that those characters won't be added along with this Tsubaki-looking character? It's been reported numerous times now that the story still has some life left in it and that CP won't be the final addition to the series. I say we still have plenty of time until we start worrying about characters that won't make the cut.

EDIT: Just to point out even further, she only has a ponytail with the hair piece, while Tsubaki has her "bangs" separated in 2 parts which is exactly like the girl shown in the video and her eyes are how they are now under Phantom's influence. They think the girl at 1:10 might be something like Tsubaki turned into a Prime Field/Murakumo or even Tsubaki possessed by the Imperator after the Imperator ditches Saya's body.
