Wind recovery seems to be more like CT/CS1 now (moderately fast directly after using wind instead of painfully slow).

I welcome that change.

Well from what I've seen today, I feel confident things will work out in due time :)

Yep, wind regen seems to start about 60 frames or something after using a wind

we got pretty lucky to have that many matches on day 1, really. I wouldn't get my hopes up

That's why I said in due time. I just feel what we've managed to see so far is a start and I feel confident that things can work out eventually but yeah, I just want to watch more videos tomorrow and see how things go as time passes by xD

This looks like Litchi hits one bat and the other two disappear as well. So.. they can simply attack the bats to make them go away? Or does Litchi hit Rachel? Can't really see it clearly. But even then that wouldn't make sense because in one video against Hakumen they still are floating around him when he combos Rachel.

IOH also seems to work on Rachel and I see now reason why it shouldn't work on Noel when it works on Litchi who has arguably a smaller crouchbox than Noel.

Possibly the 2 different types of Bat have different properties (is that the word I'm looking for)... I guess one bat input vanishes when hit while the other bat input doesn't vanish?

5B starter, 3.4k with BBL is pretty bad... I read 4k meterless was possible on jbbs, I hope to see better combos soon. Looks like she changed a lot anyway.

It's possible in extend in the corner with a pole already set up, but yeah...

EDIT: 5B > 5C > 3C > 8D > 5B > j.C > j.2D > j.C > BBL > frog > 3C > 236A does 4063 in EX...

4k meterless is pretty nuts

in extend you can do ~5k meterless. Still waiting for j.2C lv3 combos, i hope j.2C lv3>214A>5C>236B still works, at least in corner. Interesting if 1 wind j.2C lv3 midscreen still possible.

@samthegreat: You should rather check how much damage the combo does up to BBL. Repeat proration of 3C fucks the 3C > frog > 236A part up anyways.

This is only theory but I imagine stuff like 5B > 5CD > 3C > 8D > j.C > j.2D > j.C > BBL > 214A > 4B > 5B > (frog) > 236A > 236A > (dash) > 3C > 214B could work. Gonna make a combo thread later so we don't have to combo theory here.

Lots of Jager Rachel on today's Kouhatsu stream, haven't seen anything new except of combos though.

Amane doesn't kneel but Rachel appears in his ending. Our princess seems to be even more involved to the plot now...

l hope jp finds a way to make george useful in combos again. from what it looks like alot of her combos right now have her doing alot of stuff with wind and nothing concerning wind regen in midscreen or corner. based off the changes l have absolutely no idea how theyre going to even do this...

about crush trigger, is it safe or unsafe? is it cancellabe? lots of characters use it for combos right now for the bounce but how big is the bounce?
