TD Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 there's not enough info on cp rachel to give even a half-serious opinion of her overall right now. everything we know, which is very little, could very well change in the next loketest anyway. her new special looks really good for the type of character she is, though. i dont know why you want it, but okay just now seeing this lol. td as meteors would be absolutely broken... l can live with this.

I also hope they make her Astral a little easier to use, Clownish Calendula looks so cool, but it's slow start up makes it difficult. Hopefully her Overdrive makes things easier to. TD Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 l want to see some bnb's. hopefully she's retained her high wind regen combos in the corner for 1 or 2 winds, or some sort of setup with all of her minions out including this new lotus move. if the lotus move hits on wakeup then we have an auto, dp safe meaty that does not require wind. the only downside would be the huge difference in frame advantage between pumpkin and lotus, and the amount of frames george would need to activate. l still have not seen the new moves in their entirety which sucks balls...

Stuff about Iris and Lily connecting..? Ao Niku combo very strict, especially hard to land the j.C on Carl. +Stuff about damage from Lily (not sure about that). Lotus feels like a dream. A Lotus extends corner combos and horizontal (B?) lotus carry is excellent. samthegreat Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 4B pretty much became an important combo tool because of the bounce property, but it's gonna be hard to use as a starter or mixup now. Could still be used around poles I guess . I don't think it's gonna keep 70 p1, it even has FC now... Also her dmg seems to be up (5B>5CD>3C>Lily+1rod>lv3 j.2C alone does near 4.8k) but it should be the case for most of the cast.

Their are so many other characters that need a nerfing, and others that need to strengthened. Like Tager needs to be nerfed, his Genesic Emerald Tager Buster can take out any after they lost a quarter of their health! Between the nerfs on Makoto, and the nerfs on Rachel. I might have to find a new main for chrono phantasma.

He doesn't have a single good matchup (Rachel is like 7-3 against him lol). The information we have currently is extremely vague and you're straight off jumping to conclusions. Every single character has received nerves and buffs (Rachel included) and the game changed a lot. Wait until it's is out.

TD Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 she actually looks alright. her new moves sound like theyre very good just by themselves, and she still has the pumpkin dominating shit. im really glad poles are not just iris/lily fodder anymore, they have a more unique purpose that might be the the key to her higher damage/wind regen combos. doesn't cp come out this month in jp arcades?
