axel Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 Just watched some of the G3 08 5v5 vids and who is that potemkin on Isa, Ogawa, Machaboo team? And the Slayer? Their 5v5 against the ED, JA, FA, ZA, OS was siiiick i think its numbered 16. The Pots vs Jam was so silly. APBs and that slashbash 5h Pbuster punish was sick. That's Haaken(PO) and En(SL).
Killerwatt Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Can someone explain to my why, oh why, is Omito playing Eddie? Has he sold out? Anyway, regarding the latest gamechariot vids; this new JO player Yado, looks promising. Anyone know/seen him before? I haven't. And it's such a pleasure to see Kazuki's DI back in action. This is the man responsible for my playing her, and yet, I can never be that great of a DI player no matter how hard I try
4r5 Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Sold out? Maybe if he played in America, where someone could make a small profit off tournaments. He probably just doesn't find AC Johnny fun. I can understand why someone who played Johnny before AC would switch characters in AC. Sometimes I'm playing Johnny and I pull a ridiculous bait out of my ass, I like ridiculous baits btw, and then land it. And now the person is on the other side of the screen going, "Lol, Johnny why you so bad?" And I'm like, "fuck, he's right." He teched out to the opposite side of the screen and now I gotta chase him down and recoin him. I was better off not having any fun at all! Anyways, he plays such a clean Eddie. He's not trying to lock out all your options. He just wants the option you're about to take. First I ever heard of Yado. Not that I know enough Japanese to even begin keeping track of Japanese players.
rtl42 Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 who knows, this Yado fellow could be someone else we've already seen/heard of, but he just entered the tournament with a different name. people do it fairly often. Omito's been playing Eddie (off and on?) at tournaments since AC came out, I think. i think he tends to do it in singles tournaments, where he's at too much of an disadvantage to use a low tier like Johnny. on the other hand, i'm pretty sure i've seen his Johnny at A-cho's team events.
bucklemyshoe Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 oh man, i love watching Kazuki play. anyone else a little surprised to see Woshige lose in the recent A-Cho vids?
Senkei Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Kazuki is amazing BBTB: Basic Butt that Balls!! I don't know how Kazuki has no life and just completely turns the round everytime, amazing player.
Kyle Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 New Acho has great matches. Gold Burst chipp with FRC shenanigans was load of laughs.
bucklemyshoe Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 NO's combo against Dogura in round 2 was super nice. looks like 300 damage or so.
bucklemyshoe Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Ummm considering the most recent vid of him was released on 5/20 i'd say you're wrong. it was on the ABC filebank, not sure if it still is because they don't stay up that long. EDIT: http://www.filebank.co.jp/guest/honnnori/fp/athena
Champion Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Soo i guess RF don't play no more RF plays Sagat now.
axel Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Those Takadanobaba Mikado 3v3 matches are amazing! KA2 and mike in the same team? Too good!
ant12292 Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Wow, NO owned in those recent A-Cho videos! The perfect he had on that Robo-Ky in the 3rd round was just too good.
bucklemyshoe Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 It seems lately that NO has been winning more often against Dogura.
Shinjin Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Well NO taught Dogura how to be pro so ^^ But yeah, both of them are beasts, but Dogura should play more GG and less SF4. But on the other hand, he is trying really hard to qual for SF4 together with Efute so.. We'll see! I'm kinda wondering how the playquality of this years SBO will be, with so many people playing multiple games. And there should be alot of Dogura vs NO-matches up on GAMEacho youtube soon though. They hogged the cabinett after the ranbat to practise and record some games, and I'm quite sure that Tsujikawa slayer that lost to some foreign baiken-player in the pool also played alot of games after Dogura vs NO so.. So for all you NO fans, there should be alot coming your way soon.
Bakedninja Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 What's up with the 3 part video that's supposed to be the qualifier that FAB's team won? I watched the entire thing and I didn't see that team. Alot of good matches with OR SOL TE SL and ED though but no FAB
SLiC Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm7456736 It was nice to see Nemo getting his ass kicked by Imo )))
axel Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 But Nemo is going to SBO with a high chance of winning it, and Imo still hasn't got his ticket.
M.Song Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 oh damn it was good to see imo doing his shit and raping again
muffa Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 lol mike/ogawa team beaten by some no names? or just some fakers? nowadays anything can happen in this game eg. mad VE ocv shonen 5 ppl team some crazy stuff
Champion Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 I think that was isa (ED), Kishitaka (SO) but dunno about the Potemkin.
axel Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 That Potemkin should be Haaken, judging from his playing style.
axel Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ig0IWxaTnMk Tsujikawa stole Boss.Slayer's trademark move at 5:18!
