harmless kitten Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 In Makoto's story mode Rachel says parallel universe. But Rachel herself makes things more complicated since she seems to experience timelines linearly, and is surprised when Hakumen claims Noel did not exist in his world. it's bb, it don't gotta make sense
SolxBaiken Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Well Calamity Trigger itself is just one Causality Loop, and Closed Loops and Causality Effects are discussed in Continuum Shift on several occasions. However yes Noel's existence (and apparently Makoto was able to travel to some alternate timeline or something) does indeed indicate the existence of alternate parallels. I don't think BB is following 1 specific set of rules, but it obviously has the least in common with Mutable theory.
Orihalcon Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 One would think it'd be best not to question some of the crazier parts of the time travel, like the original timeline or all the paradoxes and such. Just roll with it until there's something official or the series ends and they're unanswered; at least then there'll be less to speculate on (or more, given this series.)
Ryudrake Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 I think in CS Hakumen can check other parallel universes by slashing the air with his sword. I'm pretty sure he does that during his fight with Arakune to see if he lost to him. But yeah parallel universes with time traveling makes a very confusing story.
Darlos9D Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 This fucking story. http://kotaku.com/5966163/japanese-anime-fans-are-growing-tired-of-these-tropes #10. Right there.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 (edited) At this point, I'm just rolling with it. I'm gonna go insane trying to make sense of the story, so I just take it for what it is. http://kotaku.com/5966163/japanese-anime-fans-are-growing-tired-of-these-tropes #10. Right there. And #2, don't forget #2 Edited December 7, 2012 by BlackYakuzu94
Circuitous Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 BB is pretty much everything but #4 when you get right down to it.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 BB is pretty much everything but #4 when you get right down to it. Even that's arguable given how much they're pushing the fanservice.
SoWL Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 I still want to know how Amane knows Bullet (from their intro). And Makoto and Amane might have one too. I think he stumbled upon her, like, right before the events of the game. At least he doesn't seem to know her in Bullet's Arcade mode. BB is pretty much everything but #4 when you get right down to it. I don't remember there being any clubs in BB. Unless you think that Sector Seven or NOL are clubs. That article is going places, anyways - Chuu2Koi is not a good example of a chuuni anime, for instance.
TPPR10 Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Can you really call it harem anime? Male-female ration of the playable characters are 12-11/12 (If Lambda and u are counter either same or seprate character. And it's not like there's just one male character the game foceuses on (OK, maybe, but practically every one, male or female alike, want Ragna in some form)
harmless kitten Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 (edited) I think it comes from the impression that most of the main girls want Ragna's dick. Which isn't really true, although its obvious he doesn't want anything to do with anybody Not haremy unless you mistook Rachel's joke end for the rest of the series What's going on with Celica in cp anyway. Any new info? Last thing I heard was only the stuff from haz ending Edited December 7, 2012 by harmless kitten
Moy_X7 Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Circ just took that opportunity to take a jab at BB. Don't take it too seriously, people lol.
Errol Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Aren't they making a VN for BB? what's it called. Anyway #4 is in reach.
Orihalcon Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 http://kotaku.com/5966163/japanese-anime-fans-are-growing-tired-of-these-tropes #10. Right there. Kotaku article. Fucking lol'd. That's like using an article from the National Enquirer as factual evidence for a term paper.
Circuitous Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Or it's like using a kotaku article to rip on a game's silly story.

People who have implied, and or questionable feelings for Ragna: Jin Noel Rachel Nu/Lambda(If you want to count them as the same character I guess) Celica Hmm, that's already four people right there, sounds pretty haremish to me.
Darlos9D Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Kotaku article. Fucking lol'd. That's like using an article from the National Enquirer as factual evidence for a term paper. That is certainly a comment you made there. Seriously guy. What Circ said.
Ryudrake Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 Oh just wondering but during Relius's dash animation, he's technically flying. What's up with that? All I know about Relius is that he makes dolls and was somehow transported to the future with Hazama.
Vulcan422 Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 Oh just wondering but during Relius's dash animation, he's technically flying. What's up with that? Using ars magus, just like everybody else except Rachel and Bang (for now).
Ryudrake Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 Oh that's sweet and simple. I'll take that rather than going into some insane topics of who knows what.
Vulcan422 Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 Yeah everything in this story can be explained by magic pretty much. And time-travel. And anime. Just relax and enjoy the ride, and if you really want to delve deeper, then by all means feel free.
Hyuuha21 Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 Oh just wondering but during Relius's dash animation, he's technically flying. What's up with that? All I know about Relius is that he makes dolls and was somehow transported to the future with Hazama. And he can see people's soul by looking at them, an ability he acquired by contact with the Boundary during his fall in a Cauldron (IIRC). Don't forget that, that's the whole reason he's who he is : as he's seen what a human being actually is at the core, he now simply considers everybody as objects.
