Possibly. Jin has grown powerful enough to actually hold his own against him, and it's not like Ragna hasn't gotten stronger either.

I love how Hazama roflstomps Ragna again, he's basically his punching bag at this point.

Hazama: Idea Engine? Lolnope

So wait, if Izayoi is an anti-observer, does that mean she can help Arakune? Also, I love how Azreal is the first person to actually would Rachel

Only because Takamagahara + the Imperator have a dimensional interference great enough to screw with the Idea Engine. I'm pretty sure it's just phenomena intervention.

I wouldn't count on Izayoi helping Arakune. Arakune needs someone else who can observe him who knew him as LOTTE (such as Litchi or Kokonoe), not just ARAKUNE. Izayoi just totally fucks with observation. Possibly, if he spent too much time within her sphere of influence, he would just fade like all external factors without an observer.

While a scrap of information is better than none, if it engenders confusion and wrong information it's no good at all. People are still confused about stuff that happened in CS because of old rumors or misinformation. We should probably take all this stuff with a heavy heaping of salt.

@The-Yukianesa01: Celica was sort of brought forward in time by Kokonoe sometime before CP. She shows up in his arcade ending and he is soooo not happy to see her.

@kylehyde: Yes, he would need to find a new observer if Rachel kicked it or stopped observing him.

Looks, like everyone now think Ragna will die,but like i said before i doubt it and even if he do die he still can maintain his existence like Terumi has done anyway, you know by having someone to observe him.

Damn even when Rachel talks about Ragna's death she's harsh towards the guy,"I don't care how or when he is killed".

Tsundere to the maximum.

If Ragna dies and Terumi kicks it then Hakumen would probably be fine with fading without an observer. Otherwise it is back to Kokonoe hell.

I bet Ragna will die, but will come back alive due of some stuff (take your pick)

And I am bit late, but the fact that Observers need to observe themselves does make sense (if they cannot confirm that they themself are there, how can they really exist?)

Also something tells me that Litchi will now try to become Observer herself to save Arakune. I know that she is in emotional turmoil to become one, but the fact that Hakumen said that Arakune would probally be an Observer himself would throw that argument out of the window due of how insane Arakune is.

It seems like she tried that during the summaries, assuming the interpretation is correct, but she's too unstable. Litchi has been getting glimpses of other timelines and possibilities since CT. They may have been her ties to the Boundary flaring up, but they might have given her a slight edge in observation if she weren't so conflicted. Also, pretty sure Hakumen called him an uncertain or external factor, not an observer. An uncertain factor (like Hakumen and Terumi) needs an observer or they lose their foothold in this world. You have to think of them like Schroedinger's Cat.

@mitsuyoshi: uhhh I don't think observation can save you from certain death.

Rachel is talking about after all the problems were taken care of. So presumably there would be no Nu around to life link with. Although to even get rid of her you'd have to kill them both at the same time...

Posted
When?

You know, when Nu fell to the Cauldron without Ragna and then Mu lost the Eye due of Ragna.

You know, I wanna bet that the Azure has something to do with the life-links (unless I have talked about this theory before, then ignore that statement)

The fact that she came back means the life link was still there. How else could she have been reforming through sheer willpower.

Ragna obsessed robot girls can do that

Was it ever explained why Nu was able to regenerate...ya know beyond tru wuv for Ragna?

The explanation Hazama gives is pure willpower. Part of it is likely due to the life-link between her and Ragna.

Relius kills Hazama with Ignis and Hazama comes back fine due to the life-link between him and Noel. I guess the damage to Nu was much greater. After all, she had fought Ragna and Noel immediately after tempering, and at that point it was only willpower and the life-link that was keeping her together. Falling into the Cauldron couldn't have been good for her either.

I guess Ragna can die in CS because Nu isn't quite alive yet. So if Ragna kicks in, there's no Nu to keep him alive.

Has Noel and Hazama's life link been severed? If not then wouldn't Noel need to die in order for Hazama to get killed? I'm pretty sure there is a way to sever it at some point, because I just can't see Noel getting killed at all.

How does Rachel know that he is going to die anyway? I hope they explain that in the console version and not leave it as a mystery. After all her speeches about not giving up they were all just so that he could die another day. Kind of sucks for poor old rags.

I'm pretty sure Hakumen will just choose to fade away, he doesn't belong in that time period anyway.

I gave a try to translate the blog with the dialog between Izayoi and Rachel, however since it is text I cant confirm whatever it really is this what it is said in the game.

Izayoi: Get away from Jin-niisama, you non-human!

Rachel teleports Jin somewhere.

Izayoi: Jin-niisama! Where did you take him!?

Rachel: Are you that worried about him? Don’t worry, I promise that he is at least safe.

Izayoi: And you believe that I trust your words!?

Rachel is surprised that Tsubaki have gotten back her senses on her own.

Izayoi: I didn’t do it myself. It was Noel, Makoto, Hakume-sama and Jin-niisama who released me from the darkness. Therefore I will not forgive existence that harm Jin-niisama! I will fight to protect them that are important to me, as well as for my justice!”

After battle the date is February the 4th.

Rachel: Do you know what the Seal weapon Izayoi… no, Zero-Weave Izayoi is?

Izayoi: Yes I know. That is why I challenged you.

Rachel: That Izayoi is a anti observer weapon, meant to destroy us Phantom of Time (Chrono Phantasma).

Rachel: Ragna the Bloodedge… How did he appear in your eyes when you faintly saw him?

Izayoi: The origin of this worlds all evil, I will follow my justice and destroy him”

Rachel: Such arrogance. Don’t worry. That foolish, clumsy, extremely foolish man… Ragna the Bloodedge won’t last much longer. He will soon “die”.

Izayoi: Am I supoused to believe your words and let him go?

Rachel: That man, you can kill him whenever you want I don’t care. However, user of Izayoi, I have a request to you. If he dies then “kill me”.

Izayoi: Have you not set something up if I do?

^Nice translation, but I guess all of them have more or less the same idea. Though with every new translation I feel worse for poor Ragna.

I thought once Tsubaki had broken free from Saya she would of stopped hating Ragna for whatever reason. Honestly, I'm thinking he is going to die in this game. Maybe he'll be revived in the last game, but I think he'll get killed at the end of CP. I liked Rachel but now she's starting to get kind of annoying.

I don't recall if it is, but I assume it was since the shock of blowing her cheap headband off also caused her to cease observation of Hazama. Hazama doesn't see a use for her anymore and wanted to get rid of her at the end of CS.

However, Tsubaki has always hated Ragna. In her arcade quote she tells him she'll never forgive him. She blames him for what happened to Jin and Noel. Hell, even when she's under Mind Eater she holds him responsible. lol if anything she might dislike him even more because he commands so much of her lovely Jin-nii-sama's attention.

@mAc: Forgot about that. The whole thing is so bloodless I forget that both Ragna and Nu were impaled on it. Repairing her internal organs would also take a lot of time.

@Zedar: Thank you very much for your translation! :]

For me it sounds like: "Ragna won't die. I bet my life on it". And by "die", it might probably mean the temporary/permanent loss of his Azure.

This is probably what will end up happening, but I think what rachel is saying is implied literally - as in, he's going to really die.
