00Bubbles00 Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Pretty much what Dawn of Musou said about Relius and the the material collection. I'm guessing the console version of the mat. collection will have the story mode art (lots of it), and maybe sections for extra characters.
mitsuyoshi Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 (edited) How strong do you guys think Relius is compared to all the other characters? Well,i think he very strong and if we compare the strength of all character in the story the result is maybe like this: God Tier:Hazama,Rachel Savage Tier:Ragna,Hakumen(possibly higher if he at 100%),Relius,Nu,Mu,Izayoi Atomic Tier:Jin,Azrael,Valkenhayn,Trinity Beast Tier:Litchi,Tsubaki,Noel,Bullet,Makoto,Amane(possibly higher),Tager Carnage Tier:Carl,Arakune,Taokaka Zero Tier:Bang Unknown Tier:Imperator(possibly god),Jubei(possibly god), Phantom(possibly savage or higher),Kokonoe(possibly Savage),Kagura(possibly atomic) At,least it looks like this to me. Azrael should be higher. Aside from that, this tier list is pretty accurate and have cool names.
TPPR10 Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Just to ask for a quick question, but did Ragna even go to Ikaruga int he first place?
BladeOfJustice7 Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Well,i think he very strong and if we compare the strength of all character in the story the result is maybe like this: God Tier:Hazama,Rachel Savage Tier:Ragna,Hakumen(possibly higher if he at 100%),Relius,Nu,Mu,Izayoi Atomic Tier:Jin,Azrael,Valkenhayn,Trinity Beast Tier:Litchi,Tsubaki,Noel,Bullet,Makoto,Amane(possibly higher),Tager Carnage Tier:Carl,Arakune,Taokaka Zero Tier:Bang Unknown Tier:Imperator(possibly god),Jubei(possibly god), Phantom(possibly savage or higher),Kokonoe(possibly Savage),Kagura(possibly atomic) At,least it looks like this to me. This looks pretty accurate. But I'd place Azrael in Savage tier with how much he holds back. But it could change based on the game's storymode. And with the revelation about Bang's weapon I'd place him in Carnage, but prior to cp I'd put him in Zero.
floatwater Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Azrael god tier. nigga doesn't even use his Dragunov at full potential
Volt Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 After seeing his arcade mode I'd definitely put him in god tier when not holding back and savage tier otherwise. And did Bang actually learned to use rettenjou? If he didn't he's still zero tier.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 So are we counting the Azure Grimoire with Ragna & Hazama or not?
TPPR10 Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Powerlevels/Tiers are BS. Really, with right requirements, any one can beat any one.
Volt Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Powerlevels/Tiers are BS. Really, with right requirements, any one can beat any one. We're talking about story tiers. Not actual game tiers.
SolxBaiken Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 The logic still holds true Gauging strength is really redundant as any and all characters are only the [strongest/weakest] until the plot no longer calls for them to be. And characters with "limiters" (be they self imposed or forced upon them) are really lazy characterizations. BUT WHO CARES! GAR: off [ON!]
Chaoschao222 Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 We're talking about story tiers. Not actual game tiers. The concept remains. Oh no, Tao's weak, can't even beat Noel. OH SHIT, TURNS OUT TAO ACTUALLY HAS LATENT JUBEI POWERS, SHE'S TOP FUCKIN' TIER! Oh no, Noel can't hope to beat this Jubei'd Tao now. OH SHIT, TURNS OUT BOLVERK HAS COMBINED WITH KUSANAGI, CREATING ARCUS DIABOLUS: KUSANAGI, NOEL'S UNBEATABLE! etc, etc, etc. Potential and powerups can be pulled out the ass in this series, so there's no point in discussing who's the strongest, because someone else will always beat them later.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Just like any good Shonen series. Never change Blazblue, never change.
Volt Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Just like any good Shonen series. Never change Blazblue, never change. Exactly. But these sudden plot changes can be annoying sometimes, even though Blazblue always avoided them.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Exactly. But these sudden plot changes can be annoying sometimes, even though Blazblue always avoided them. Man, CS is almost three years, this shit has been happening since forever.
LiveWireX Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 I'll agree about story power tiers/power levels being kind of fishy anyway. Like, Gohan was some weak scrawny kid until he storyline needed to go badass and kill Cell.
SoWL Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Just like any good Shonen series. Never change Blazblue, never change. Excuse me?
Ehecatl Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Exactly. But these sudden plot changes can be annoying sometimes, even though Blazblue always avoided them. Sudden plot changes? What plot changes? This stuff has been foreshadowed since the beginning. You all make it sound like they're just writing the story by ear and pulling it out of their asses out of no where as they go along when that has not been the case. At all. Clearly. I'd think such doubts put to rest when CS came out and suddenly made use of all the foreshadowed events perceived and not perceived by the player base of CT. I'll be the first to call Blazblue on its bullshit at times but this is one case I think people are calling fail way too early on.
mitsuyoshi Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Powerlevels/Tiers are BS. Really, with right requirements, any one can beat any one. To tell you the truth, this tier list is base on their current power and situation and yes any one can beat any one,but that if they have a decent tactics to strengthen themselves and lowered the enemy ability and this tier list is just base on their current power alone and this tier list doesn't include their tactics to overcome the opponent they facing, because we will not know who they facing and there's possibility that they can only use the strategies just for once.

I said that Blazblue never does sudden plot changes without at least a bit of foreshadowing, not the opposite. The only "plot holes" in the story are covered in the books and other stuff no one bothers to translate.
Wild Candy Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 I hope we learn more about the Sankishin in CP, all we know about them is that they inspired the Nox Nyctores, Jin's soul is bound to the Susano Unit which is the ultimate offense, Rachel possesess the Tskuyomi Unit which is supposed to be the ultimate defense (And it hasn't seen any action since CT... So...). And the Amatersu Unit is what's caused the time loops and may or may not have been destroyed by Saya. There's still a lot of mystery surrounding them, like where do they come from, how exactly powerful are they, how did people learn about them! All these questions are driving me crazy!!! I really want to learn more about the Sankishin's...
psycofang2 Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 i too want to know more about the sankishin family. all i remember so far is Susanoo slashes time, Tsukuyomi protects it, Amaterasu alters it. its like its trying to follow the 3 basic world laws of creation, alteration and destruction. its interesting to say the least.
Wild Candy Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 We've also only scene the Sankishin used pretty much once. (In CT, when Rachel used the Tsukuyomi Unit to defend Kagutsuchi from total destruction.) And that's just a hazy glimpse, because we have no idea how strong Tsukuyomi's defense is, like how well would it defend an attack from Saya, or someone similar. The Susano Unit has been seen, but it's true power hasn't been seen yet because Haku-Men is only functioning at 20% (It's possible that the Susano Unit is what allows Haku-Men to perform his drive, but it could possible that it's performed using his Nox Nyctoress, or could be just a simple form of Ars Magus. Either way, we don't know The Susano's true power.)
