Izayoi is an anti phenomena intervention weapon? Kinda like the power of order or something? I keep wondering why that particular plot point remains untouched, they kept saying it's important but they refuse to dwell on it.

Sort of? Jin/Hakumen's power of order is the rejection of phenomena intervention by force of will, the means by which observers manipulate reality. I think Izayoi is compared to a black hole in the story. Not even "light"--in this case, observation--can escape. It absorbs the user's life force in exchange/fuels Izayoi, but hey who cares about that? Even Takamagahara could not observe events which happened within Izayoi's sphere of influence. This is the entire reason Kokonoe gets so worried when Tsubaki shows up.

If Jin's Power of Order is denial of phenomena intervention, Izayoi is a weapon created to completely absorb and neutralize the powers of an observer. An observer can still observe around Jin, but phenomena intervention can be deflected if his will is strong enough. Not so with Izayoi. An observer can't peek if Izayoi is exerting its power, though I'm not sure if it's mentioned whether phenomena intervention will work (I'm guessing no simply b/c an observer has to observe it first).

Not sure what you meant on particular plot point.

What is Ragna a biometric key for? The Nemesis Horizon?

Another quick question that seems insane in hindsight...

If Izayoi is the form Tsubaki takes after she breaks the Imperator's spell then WHY is she still serving the Imperator if she's completely aware she's being controlled? I understand her will and desire to support "justice" but everything about Tsubaki is about discovering what "justice" really means. It would seem more fitting to me if she took the form of Izayoi under the Imperator than breaking the Imperator's mind control only to be possessed to serve her under her (tsubaki's) own will...

She doesn't initially break free of the Imperator's control when she awakens it and "Sealed Weapon Izayoi" becomes "Zero Weave Izayoi", that comes after. Jin is the one who broke her free of the Imperator's control, as Izayoi even states herself in both her own arcade mode and Rachel's (though in Rachel's, she worded it as Jin having "liberated [her] from the darkness").

Speaking of old psycho bro, where's his arcade info?

From tremain again

Jin arcade

Vs Ragna

Same ole same **** Jin wants to kill him, Ragna is annoyed fight starts ends with a stalemate as both parties have other stuff to be doing then cutting each other up

Vs Hakumen

Jin feels very familar with Hakumen for some reason but can't figure out what, Hakumen wants to test him and starts a fight....apparently Jin has leveled up from the ass beating Hakumen gave him in continuum shift he leaves Tsubaki to him saying only he can save her

Vs Tsubaki

same as Tsubaki's arcade mode

Vs Izayoi

Izayoi says she will kill Jin then the others for defying the Imperator, Jin then remembers his own experience at being controlled by his sword and urges Tsubaki to not become a mere weapon which apparently seems to cause a reaction in her however it's a to be continued deal.

....man...they're not even trying to give them a reason to fight anymore are they.

Any more clarification about that "same body as number 11" thing from before? That's got me really confused/curious because I don't know if Kokonoe is talking about Roy (I thought Roy=Arakune, who is still a blob?) or Relius (seems to make sense since other parts of his body are artificial) or someone else?

I'm just gonna wait till somebody who actually knows Japanese can translate this, not 'a grammatically poor interpretation of Google Translate'... because this shit is dumb enough without Google becoming the source of info...

I'd rather people had accurate information from a first hand source than shitty mistranslations or second hand information that may not be 100% true. And if the accurate info doesn't exist, I'd rather have nothing.

I'd rather have nothing than things that could be wrong.

If its wrong then it can be corrected when a more realiable source is made avaliable but until that that time arrives this is the best we got.

Its not perfect but it will do for the time being.

Welp thats my opinion at least

Rachel arcade

Vs Valkenhyne

Rachel wants to test something so she asks Valkenhyne to spar with her afterwards it seems Valkenhyne cannot remember fighting Rachel at all Rachel ponders if its interruption intervention

Vs Azrael

Rachel is just around when Azrael shows himself he asks if she is a vampire and wants to "eat" her Rachel of course starts pouring on the insults, battle starts after an exchange of blows Azrael is getting hyped and Rachel is amazed that a mere human was able to wound her, Azarel wants to go another round but rachel teleports away

Vs Jin

Jin asks what Rachel wants, She says that now that he has gotten a grasp on the power of order he should become her servant Jin scoffs at the idea leading to a battle afterwards Rachel remarks that it seems that even he is under intervention interference however if he and Ragna work together they should be able to stop these "sun flashes"

Vs Izayoi

She's speaking in a creepy voice asking where Jin is and is ticked off that Jin was beaten by Rachel saying she'll beat Rachel for justice and protection battle starts (note that even while free Tsubaki refers to herself as Izayoi) Afterwards Izayoi is panting she comments that Rachel is strong Rachel herself starts to tell her that she is an anti-observer and once Ragna has gotten rid of the evil in this world he will die when that time comes Rachel asks Izayoi to kill her since with Ragna dead she will have no reason to remain in this world Izayoi wonders if it's because she'll miss Ragna and if she is thinking of double suicide.

LOL... That's a muddled mess and much of the Izayoi fight translation is either wrong or taking the blogger's speculations as if they were actual things said by the characters.

Here's the basic gist (in list form) of what I got from the Rachel arcade blog for the ending.

1.Rachel asks Izayoi what in her once dizzy eyes does she view Ragna the Bloodedge as.

2.Izayoi say he's the source of the world's evil and that she'll seek and destroy him with her justice.

3.Rachel calls Izayoi arrogant but then tells her she has nothing to worry about. "That slow, sloppy, fool beyond any help of a man that is Ragna the Bloodedge is not long for. He's going to 'die'."

4.Izayoi says "Even if I were to believe that, you expect me to overlook him?"

5.Rachel then says "That man, I don't care how or when he is killed. But I have a request of you, user of the Izayoi. When he dies, please kill me."

6.Izayoi asks something along the lines of "is this some kind of trick?"

Let's hope so. :(

Ok, before I was like "better having something than nothing!", but now that I know it's wrong, I'm just angry. I guess I'll just wait for a proper translation before reading anymore.

As if Ragna's going to die, anime protagonists have a looong life expectancy. That said, how does Rachel know he's gonna die.

Maybe she means once Ragna serves his purpose to fulfill whatever goal he needs to, the Power of Order will wipe him out?

Possibly. Jin has grown powerful enough to actually hold his own against him, and it's not like Ragna hasn't gotten stronger either.

I love how Hazama roflstomps Ragna again, he's basically his punching bag at this point.

Hazama: Idea Engine? Lolnope

So wait, if Izayoi is an anti-observer, does that mean she can help Arakune? Also, I love how Azreal is the first person to actually would Rachel

Posted

well i doubt he will die now but maybe far off into the future gut kinda feel srry for ragna now 2 users of the power of the order and now a anti observer you can really tell he is the enemy of the world but like he said "i decide my on destiny and i will win" but to me in the end ragna acts a counter balance for the world good and evil , evil and good ,jin power of order and ragna the destoyer

Posted

You know what?I doubt Ragna will die in the story, because he the main character and he still have a lot of potential than any other character in this game, surely Rachel and Jubei will not let him die after they manage to save him and Izayoi is not on the enemy side and Izayoi itself is fighting against the NOL,so that's mean if she have the power to destroy the observer then surely she can kill Hazama or Relius by destroying their observer and i know that Saya is their observer, but i just want to say the anti observer is the advantage for the heroes not the villain and about Celica who have the power of order to from what i can tell this is not a bad news for Ragna, because if you look at Terumi expression that time his face is like someone who has been cornered and if you know Terumi, there's no way he will make a expression like that without a good reason.

Damn even when Rachel talks about Ragna's death she's harsh towards the guy,"I don't care how or when he is killed". I have a feeling that all the talk about him giving the middle finger to destiny will prevent him from dying. But in the off chance he does get killed in the end, my money's on Jin doing it.

Hmm, wait, if Rachel dies doesn't that mean Hakumen would vanish as well? She's his observer right? So she needs to stay alive in order to keep him around.
