I don't mind donating to the pot, I just want to have some fun for my contribution too. Hopefully since I'll have GG and be able to practice shit OUTSIDE of tournaments I can actually know some shit before coming to this.

Anyone have any advice? normally i would say taking the train is no problem, but hurricane sandy really messed up the transit system (esp the lower manhattan area) my advice is coordinate with someone who is coming down from that part of the city to pick you up on the way there (if they are driving) then again, this is a few weeks from now so hopefully things improve

I need more specifics before giving specific directions, but for a general idea, in the NY subway system after the bus ride, you want to find the D train, and take that to 9th Avenue, which leaves you about 3 blocks away.

EDIT: I'm also thinking about doing some player interviews for this day via my shitty phone cam if ppl are up for it. If anyone has a REAL cam they'd be willing to donate for the day, that would be a big help. I just ask two things though: If whomever chooses to bring a cam could show well before the event starts and that the cam has some way to connect to a laptop for me to just copy files directly onto my setup.
