we're talking about f.s/6H -> iad combos. but since you brought it up, how do you kinda hit confirm CH f.S xx tatami? For me, the tatami is the hit confirm :S

I think he means confirming your CH with the tatami. and if you get good at confirming crouching hits off of one slash, confirming the CH is easy.. honestly it doesn't come up that much (having to confirm off just one hit) though so it's not very important.

any suggestions for combos post k-Baku (Counter-Hit state)? currently my main combo is: 6k, 5HS, mat, j.HS, mat, land, j.p, j.d, AD, j.s, j.d, FRC, mat, land, j.s, j.d, AD, j.s, j.d (got about 240 dmg on Baiken) also noticed that if you do the k-Baku and seal S, you get a free 6k ....combo....(tested it in the corner, I'll check mid screen later tomorrow) but the damage is prorated down so bad that's it's not really worth it unless they're within pixels of dying. -Q

5HS tatami until it's close to done/near corner then j.SD SD or 6HS j.D or whatever. Baku has been talked about, and is mentioned in the guide. The unblockable hit is only really useful (not really) against someone who is about to die (but then you could just do another baku and kill them then), to get a free gold burst, or against ABA to get free knockdowns to get rid of her meter (including a gold burst)

Hey, I want to ask about the dust combos that are in the heaven or hell vids, I've been practicing them a few times but cant seem to get them right more than 20% of the time. Can anyone tell me how exactly do i do them? just to make sure im doing the right thing. And recently I can do the yzn FRC(and TK) like 100% of the time, but im not sure where to put them in real matches(I've tried on oki alone TK'ed and after meaty j.HS or j.S), or what to do with them afterwards, and is it realy useful to do in combos as seen in the komorebi CMV or is it just for flashyness?

It's not really that useful. It can mostly be applied for pseudo-ghetto-frametraps and if they block like a iad jHS and you are pretty high up in the air. In those kind of situations you can use the yzn frc to 1. Avoid getting punnished 2. Frametrap jK/jP after it 3. If they block the "frametrap" you can keep pressuring. and if it hits 1. yzn frc jP -> combo 2. yzn rc -> combo It's not really that useful, but it has some kind of flash/ghetto-use. And I like to flash so I try to use it, more effectively now than before. ---------------- In combos its only real function in a real match-scenario, would be that you somehow managed to random a midair jHS-hit / counterhit. In such a situation you can yzn frc to jP/jPjD -> combo depending on hit/counterhit and position in air and if you have an airdash left or not. Once again, very situational stuff. I would say ALL other uses in combos are just pointless flash and should be reserved for combovids only. ------------ And dont use tk yzn frc as a high-mixup from the ground, you're much better off just doing a tkyzn rc->combo, for MUCH better damage and 25% more tension. ------------ Maruken-dash is awesome though. Master it: tk yzn 6 frc 6 -> supahlowairdash yo~:toot: :toot: :toot: from 5S, fS, 2D. ---------------- That is all for my info about semi-useful stuff with yzn frc. The rest of my secrets I will keep for myself. Your pretty much better off not using it at all though, if you dont wanna be Awesome:roboky: .

The only really useful (and really hard) use for it would be crossup j.K imo. Running TK yzn frc gives you superjump so you cross up and turn around as you go over them. Hard to both time it and hit the FRC so good luck applying it though.

any vids of this?

Maruken is a pretty cool guy. eh loses tension and doesn't afraid of penalty. IMO YZN FRC isn't a bad thing to do after a grounded opponent blocks one of your j.HS or j.S but it's a horrible way to treat either one of those moves on hit. That Maruken dash is just too damn sweet to never ever use! It seems to me that 2D mdash j.S, etc. could be an alternative to 2D tat mat FRC -> more pressure for aggressive players. ...a somewhat hi/low mixup-free alternative. Rats.

It's really not fast enough to count as a mixup, and even if you do land hits comboing on it isn't great (especially with the added ground recovery from your youzansen) As for using it low in the air to mix up, I think it can be used most often off of a low j.P. After a low j.P they will only expect you to land or do another air move immediately, so the added time they need to block high will throw them off. It also makes you way more safe against characters like pot who might try to IB your j.P and pot buster you as you land, or IB backdash potbuster.

Did you read the guide? I'm pretty sure I talked about buffering your tatami motion with your air dash, so you do j.D FRC 23656K, similar to regular iad tatami which is 236956k.

1 more of my stupid inspiration combos ( i mean i did it in a match as a finishing combo) it was one of those great moments when u have about 2% life left and do some thing that turns the match. anyway here: dash 4p,2k,5s,2d,236236s (3hit) , rc, dash 2k,S, js,jp,js,jd , ad (dunno it was already slash so no more hits) but i think a j.hs.623s,(421s) should have connect and just for the char info it was vs jam :)

So, why don't people do 6k, 6hs over and over? wouldn't this be an excellent means of building meter AND it is an infinite, the computer never gets out of it! there should definitely be more of this in high level play. Obviously maruken and sharon are not exploring these priceless and very valuable options.

i thought the CPU infinite pressure string was [6K-5H xx chain] x N.

Try a 2+K, c.S, 2+D, 236236+S (RC), dash 2+K, c.S, j.SD, IAD SPSD

That´s the best combo you´re gonna get on lights.
