Lunais Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 I still can't get over that you can actually do something after connecting 5D without RCing. What am I gonna use all that meter for now!? I need to get this game already. Maybe after SCR Prelude. 720's, guard breaks and astral more often :P
WintySoSolo Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 2C RC 5C 3C capture for corner carry. also astrals.
Layer Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Hah, Astrals huh? I'm the worst at pulling off Astrals or Instant Kills. Unless they're dizzy, anxiety always get to me and I freak out on the input and execution. I like Minionman's idea. That sounds viable.
WintySoSolo Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 you can connect 6C off of CH 3C on people with fat OTG hitboxes(tested tager and rachel, might be others. Doesn't work normally) not overly useful but I was just messing around with some tager-only combos for cmv shit and found that.
haitian_sensei Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 So, I was looking for a new set up for serpentine, and I kinda got one. After a combo ender with 623B, I do 3C, then serpentine. It goes under them, if they tech early, or clips them if they roll back. If they delay tech, they get hit, and you can do 5D 623B again. I had someone try to black hawk stinger after I crossed under, and you can block it. I was able to block normals as well, but that could have been a miss timing. It seems legit to me, but I'd like a fresh pair of eyes to try it out, and see if it's actually worth it. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk

Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask, I wasn't sure where general questions go. I am very new and am having a lot of trouble executing Serpentine Assault at all. Is it suppose to be 2 full circles? I have no problem doing quarter or half circles, but no matter how much I try, I cannot get Serpentine to go off let alone trying to use it in a combo.
Corbenik Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 It's two full circles and not really something you combo with, since you'll just get the purple throw exclamation points. You'll want to buffer it with some other move's animation. In order of what I've found to be easiest to hardest: during the overdrive animation, the 214d animation, after you've used up your extra air jump, during 3c's animation, during 5[c],s animation, on wake up, after you cancel the drive, right after you brake capture, and slightly delayed after 2b. Generally speaking you should not be expecting to land serpentine all that often.

It's p good to throw it into your mix up game every now and then.
SoWL Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Don't forget that Bullet is one of the few grapplers who can buffer her 720 during a forward dash, though it takes lots of practice to do reliably, since it's so fast.
haitian_sensei Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 I've been working on dash 720, but I don't get 100% of the time. Also, I wish I knew about the set up in bbcp 1.1. It would have helped win more matches then. I played Omniscythe recently, and he got hit with a lot of her new tech. I want to keep exploring and find more tech, so she can be even cheaper. WintySoSolo Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 good bullet matchups: none even bullet matchups: people I can abuse both 3C and capture against bad bullet matchups: people I can abuse 3C or capture against horrible bullet matchups: people I can't abuse either against
haitian_sensei Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Where can I watch some Japanese, 2.0 Bullet matches? I want to see how they handle the neutral in this version, and how they mix up people.
haitian_sensei Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 I just watched the new Blazblue trailer, and it looks nice. Bullet's part only shows one move, but it looks like a throw. I am hoping that it's a command throw. https://youtu.be/wxXGVJSINHk
Corbenik Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Pretty much everything that gets posted to nico gets uploaded to YouTube by Jourdal, and everything what he uploads with a Bullet gets posted to the video thread. So that would be your best bet.
Hagane Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 What is the best bnb video for 2.0 bullet? Just got the game today
haitian_sensei Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 There is a combo thread that has everything in it. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
Sadeyo Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 so while messing around with Bullet and I'm almost positive this question has probably been asked in the past but how do we get 3C to connect after 41236C 236D 3C <----This part here? I've tried delaying it, immediately, dashing and I think I've successfully did it once but I need to know some indicators, please share if you know any.
haitian_sensei Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Is that in the corner, or mid screen? To be honest, I've never seen that follow up after 41236C 236D. Do you mean 6C?
Sadeyo Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 obviously mid-screen. If that's not a legitimate follow up than please share another idea that doesn't cost meter.
Corbenik Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 That follow up only works with raw capture on counter hit. As in CH 41236C 236D > 3C. IAD j.b also connects off of that. My recommendation is either go with 5dd or the snapchance route depending on which corner you're closest to unless you're sure the capture route will wall stick.
Sadeyo Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 True, after watching a couple of videos the route I mentioned is typically ignored unless you're going for the kill of Rage Aggressor. The few combo videos I've just seen she was in her OD state so after the blast they were still in heat up and did a dash 3C, this must be some of those rare moments like the CH you mentioned. I'll change it up a little bit when the next time I turn on the console for training.
Corbenik Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 It's possible that in OD her buffed dash makes up the distance in time since she doesn't lost the heat on the 236d. I'll have to lab it when it get home. It's also worth noting that afaik CH on snapchance and capture both only give you a character flash and not the audio cue or the word appearing on screen.
Corbenik Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Checked it when I got home and yeah, 3c just doesn't reach with lvl 0 dash.
