Jourdal could have gotten his name wrong (the 15th dan player). Then there's the possibility that Matsu could have lost his card but that wouldn't warrant a complete shift over to Makoto... or does it?

Whoever it is, they do not play at Taito Station Machida - So it can't be "Matsu".

Well, Kuroku is back to 13th dan from 12th so maybe he did suffer a loss streak.

Anyway, frame data. I heard from Errol that we should have it translated soon. I won't hold my breath about certain moves but things do seem like they've gotten better for the most part.

unfortunately there is really no data about the changes to when you can do stuff after asteroid vision a. we know you can get to lunatic upper much faster - i.e. so fast that there is no gap in blocking. which means asteroid vision -> lunatic in 18 frames or less. Which means can go to upper at least by 5f instead of 9f.

Makoto 6a has invuln through the entire strike now. But the invuln starts 1 frame later. probably a fair trade.

This seems to be a universal change, but 2B now is P1 90. I remember telling you all that 2B had much better proration but I wasn't expecting it to be 90. Anyway, it's great!

How much of that 95% is the same though? :o

iirc. I did a guard bonus a month ago by using String> 214ACCCCC > RC > String > 214ACCC.... in one of my matches

Makoto 6a has invuln through the entire strike now. But the invuln starts 1 frame later. probably a fair trade.

Comet cannon is not buffed in any way. Viability is I think just from longer knock downs so you have more time to recover.

Lightning arrow active frames from 11 to 19.

Shooting star invuln from 1-12 to 5-12.

Our tip dash speed got nerfed but our acceleration got buffed. Our dash speed is now similar to Noel. Our top dash speed is still the same. This change is the epitome of retard'ness but whatever~

How's 2A/2B/5B/6B/6C Frame Data?

some math. reach 38 top speed in 45 frames now.

2a/2b/b/6b/6c are all unchanged. all normals appear to be unchanged, or close to it.

2A and 5A both have P1 100 now, but their hitstun decay level is lower than her other moves so that doesn't mean much. 2B has P1 90 which is great. 5B is unchanged. 6B is unchanged. 6C has P1 100 now which means it's our best punish.

Wow. Could that be hit confirmed into 4k without meter? That's ridiculously good proration.

That'll be very useful considering Makoto's can be a little slower then most. (Like level 3 Drive Attacks, 2C, Comet Cannon, etc.)

A lot of things have P1 100 now. That includes 5A, 2A, 5B, 5C and 6C.

2C's P1 has been nerfed, while we're at it.

Also no I don't think you can get 4k without using meter.

Hmm, it looks like Corona Upper as a combo ender is pretty much only to be used when when you don't have meter for DT and you're trying to kill the enemy. Does that sound about right?

Also for OD combos as well after a jump cancel, some opponents sitting somewhat comfortably at about 30-35% HP think your end with j.5D into oki, only to hit OD instead, and corunna upper into a nice combo ending with particle flare, for the win.

CP has a whole lot of new sound effects. Most of 'em sound like cracking celery sticks though.
