Jin Valk seems to be suffering. Minami had switched from Ragna to jin i think but said he can't beat Valk with Jin so went back to bang. It's not the first he's messed with rachel either, subbing her back in CS2. Also dora could have been trolling me
darkasjinksu§ Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Heh, it was a joke. Tetsu stuck with Jin through CS and CSE, and while Rachel looks pretty solid, I don't think she's higher tier than Jin.

Her versatility makes her a force to be reckoned with and once she gains momentum and locks you down in the corner, the match is as good as over.

Really strong momentum, but really weak against that too. cat chair is weak, no real reversal even with heat... Jin is just all-around awesome and easy..
Putin Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 He may have no glaring weaknesses, but the fact that he's "easy" to play also translates to more straight forward, less random bullshit and all around easier to deal with. It's the exact opposite of when an ok Arakune suddenly appears in some tournament and wrecks everyone. Jin also has no particular strengths too, nothing too tough to deal with like most characters. Just overall solid.
darkasjinksu§ Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 To be honest, it doesn't matter how straight-forward a character is by design. It's easy enough to learn your opponent and change accordingly. Arakune's just a special case, an exception to the rule.
xlolxlolx Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 well rachel is like the only character that can literally control space everywhere, that and litchi lol her damage might not be anything impressive but she beats jin in pressure and mixup by miles, stuff like wind instant overhead j.a is really damn strong along with wind crossups etc

I checked his twitter profile, it used to say "Rachel Player" for the last couple of months. Now its back to just jin. Corner carry 3.8K meterless combo and only a little bit of OD was needed. Didn't think anything new could be shown considering CP has been out for a while but damn, Jin is full of surprises lol.
