Don't have my copy of CSE for 360 anymore, traded it and got PS3 version instead, maybe when the next iteration of games come out I'll import PS3 and buy a US copy for 360(if it ever gets made lol)

growler has a guardpoint (blocks litchi 2b) and also completely absorbs most if not all projectiles.

@Star, pretty much what TD said, Growler is a DP that can absorb projectiles(up to 3) can't absorb a burst, but some of his other moves with guardpoint can eat a burst. In that situation it would be wise to follow up with a quick haku since the guard point can only absorb 1 physical hit I believe.

I've been told it's not as much a big deal and the Litchi Azreal Matchup is probably still in her favor.

Anyways - She's been upgraded to S+...

Nobody can tell you how because we don't have the game yet.

Take every tier-list you see with a grain of salt for now, despite what people will say, the tier-list will change. The game is still new, and there is still much more to be explored. I'm reminded of the early CT days where Tager was considered to be S-Tier and Nu and Carl were considered bad. Or when we thought CS1 Litchi wouldn't be good. But we all saw how that turned out.

While I can agree with the notion that Litchi is very solid in CP, I won't participate in any tier-listing or discussion of it until later in the game's lifespan.

lol tier lists, they make me laugh.

anyway's litchi does look pretty sold next game. i love kanchan and 4b. with just those two alone they gave her more means to be scary and deadly..........if played correctly that is. it's also cool how 4b and 4b[m] counts as different moves so the SMP wont cause them to tech if you use both of them in the same combo.

Edit: 4b > chun is godlike (forgot to add that lol)

i think she's quite strong in relation to the rest of the cast...

to put it in perspective, the last time she was considered top early game was CS1

I was doing a little playing around in the lab and found that j.a j.a j.c j.b land 6c works in EX. You get crap damage and it isn't to optimal. Just felt like sharing this information. Could come in handy during certain situations. Of course the starters I used to go into it you can get way better combos and corner carry off of it. So 10/10 times you wont think of doing j.a j.a j.c j.b

So i noticed 2b[m] 4b works without counterhit on standers, but does anyone know if it works at the max range of 2b[m]? That'd be sweet as hell if it does, especially since it apparently leads to 4,000 midscreen.

Good idea - does it have similar behavior to 2B > 6A?

And I think it does - I have seen the staff move forward after another staff normal, I recall pausing the video while I was streaming my comments to mention this.

4B[m] does work like 6A[m] in that it will stay at the tip range of whatever move you did prior to it that involved the staff. So 2B > 4B will increase the range that 4B will hit at, whether or not it reaches all the way to the end of 2B, I don't know.

It seems like 3/4 the length of 2B or so, as you can see here. It's not the best example since barrier pushback is fairly severe now but it reaches a good distance.

As an aside - Ihave this terrible feeling that the day will come where I'll be like "yeah...I liked EX Litchi better".

Combos using 4B[m] and all her Daisharin combos. This combo got me particularly excited for her OD.

I literally started screaming when i saw that combo. Shyt got me SOOOOOOO hype.

Thanks for the info! Did the litchi info specfiy whether those numbers were for 4b[m] or 4b[e]? It seems like [e] might be a little faster but im not sure.

4b[e] is unarmed right.

4b[m], invincible from 9f to 19f. Startup 17f, 3 active frames. And that reach and untechable time? That's strong. I'm curious how it is without the staff too, but it definitely has head invincibility so it's probably very similar. Also the untechable time of it.

As an anti-air it doesn't seem feel like they can tech? (I'm not sure on this part, I don't know the japanese terms for tech stuff. it's ukemi)

and then speculation between galileo and kikuchiyo went like.. Galileo likes 4b[e] better, think it is faster and the head invuln is also probably faster, and the recovery is definitely less. Kiku likes the staff version because of the reach, and hasn't figured out combos off 4b[e] yet. then Galileo posted some combos from like 2250-2500 damage.

Is there a 4b(1) or something? He said that a lot of matchups became easy because of it.
