Also if the battle scenes in Episode 7 was epic as Episode 1~2 and also epic as the animated cutscenes from Chronophantasma (Ex. Kagura vs Azrael and Jin vs Izayoi), I wouldn't complain...

Because the budget for making a 240 minute + anime is significantly higher and less appealing than the budget needed to make 8 minutes worth of cutscenes for the game that the series is known for.

I'm not going to stop people from complaining about the anime within reason. Most complaints are perfectly valid.

It's just the shit like "where did Ragna's sword come from?" "How did Platinum put her cloak back on?" "Why can't I see the sun move in accordance to planetary rotation?" and shit like that that don't fly so well.

Good or bad, discussion is discussion. Freedom of speech and whatnot. If this anime gets badmouthed and such, it's probably for a good reason. If it was good, we would be praising it instead. I just don't like when people go 'HEY EVERYONE STOP BADMOUTHING X IF YOU GOT NOTHING GOOD TO SAY THEN DON'T SAY IT' because I find that stupid. I think that so long it is within the boundaries of what is allowed to be said, it can be said. I'm not trying to sound like a jerkass or anything, just saying we are allowed to badmouth just as much we're allowed to praise, and people will continue to do so for as long they think it should be continued.

P.S: By no means do I imply people are not allowed to praise or like something that gets badmouthed often, or vice versa. Just that to everything, there is a common opinion and we should not tell people to stop mentioning that opinion just because we disagree with it. Anyway, if we were to continue this then it would get off topic and we don't want that, just wanted to make my point just like you wanted to make yours.

Make a point discussing the anime instead of complaining about people who are complaining (With varying degrees of validness) about the anime. If the only thing people see in this thread is the multiple references to the anime's QUALITY, then what is there to discuss? Start a valid discussion about the anime yourself if you think no one did it yet.

To be honest, it feels like some of you are grasping at straws when you're looking for flaws to post up. It feels like you're posting up things that look clearly off, realize that there aren't that many things wrong with the episode, then filling in the rest with the extra screenshots you took, hoping no one would notice (and you'd be right since no one looks at them in the first place).

Do not mistake this as a statement praising the anime in anyway: there's definitely more misses than hits. Consistency is certainly missing from this anime and Ragna's and Hazama's faces feel like amorphous blobs at this point since they are never the same shape.

What I am saying is that some of you aren't as funny/clever as you think you are.

Well, if I can say my personal opinion of this anime, I would call it a mess. Sure, we all know the animation is lazy as fuck and fight scenes pretty much suck, but I find there are other issues with it. The pacing was a total mess at the start and I still don't think they fully recovered from it, and there are way too little things explained so far considering we're almost at 2\3 of the show.

Also, it's pretty damn clear there is Noel favoritism going for the show, which is a bad thing since she...is not really a good character, and even without taking that into consideration, favoritism is a terrible thing per se. Overall, the show feels lazy and like a fanservice to the franchise's director, rather than the fanbase.

However, I do love Ragna pointing out just how stupid everything is, and I feel like that he alone is saving the anime from an otherwise terrible fate many low budget shows suffer from.

To be honest: I never really cared for BB's story elements even within their initial form. I found everything to be at least relatively shallow and extraordinarily typical. As within, it seemed as if it's elements were taken from some form of void containing the most primordial, undeveloped forms of Anime archetypes and thrown together. Of course, you could say "this is a shallow archetype" about a lot of things, but this is the first time I considered a story to be so in such a concentration: An acute sense of facelessness (GEDDIT!?).

Therefore at this point I'm really not watching the show seriously. I thought the first episode was somewhat well done, despite the lack of actual explanation to people without prior knowledge and that amazing Jin GIF, but afterwards I basically just consider it as becoming worse and yet more worse with each episode. I'm really just viewing it to MST with the rest of EU Skype and laughing at shoddy or inconsistent animation, and similarly inconsistent minor plot holes.

Come on, the fight scenes are not that bad. Sure, in the first episodes they were terrible, but the Noel vs Tsubaki one was pretty good. The only consistent flaws are the QUALITY in Hazama's faces (I can't shake the feeling that they are doing it this way just to troll everyone who complained about GONZO), Ragna's expressions (and eyes in Ep.7), and Noel's chest. She often goes from non-existent to Litchi size and then return.

Aside from that there are not many QUALITY worth moments in the anime. The galleries posted after each episode are a testament to how the anime is improving. The first episodes were a complete clusterfuck and the newest episodes barely had anything grating.

Now please, posting about the bad stuff in the anime is acceptable, but don't post only bad things about it. This is why the biggest discussion this thread had was because the people here (and that includes myself sometimes, especially after the hotsprings ep.) was about the massive amount of rants and trolling the few bad scenes it had.

Regarding the Relius mask: When did it happen? I didn't notice it.

Regarding the disagreement about the improvements in the anime: Fair enough, a valid point. But comparing the earlier episodes to the latest ones are just laughable, except episode 6 which was even worse than the first in my opinion and the hotsprings episode which was completely unnecessary. The anime is improving, slowly and still with many flaws, but a average of 6 major mistakes per episode is an exaggeration.

And we shouldn't forget about the plot. This anime is making the CS story interesting (Which it certainly wasn't in the original games). Sure, some parts of it are rushed, but it's not the studio's fault that they have to resume 2 games story into 12 episodes that amount to less than 6 hours.

Don't mind me, I am just watching it as I love Ragna, Nu and Lambda, and I wanted to see Blazblue animated. But since the story is taking a bit of a different approach compared to CS, it makes me excited.

I have wanted there to be a BB anime for a long time, so when I saw there was going to be an animation for BB, I became very excited. I have not been disappointed at all by any of the episodes, sure, there have been episodes I liked more than others, but that definitely doesn't mean I think the ones I liked a little less "suck". I loved all the episodes I've seen so far.

Some people seem to be looking for reasons to tell everyone this anime "has bad quality" or that it is "crappy" or "sucks". And I find that annoying, if you're such an anime perfectionist, go make your own "perfect" anime. Just don't sit around looking for reasons to bash another's product.

I'm not trying to bug anyone, or be that so-called "guy", or get infracted/banned, I just wanted to make a point and get some perspective in here.

I was ecstatic when I first found out there was going to be a BB anime. Then more news popped out and I learned it was made by a pretty cheap studio and that we'd only get 12 episodes. At this point, my expectations were somewhat low. As of now, I believe the show could have been a whole lot better, despite the small budget, but it could have also been much, much worse.

Objectively speaking, I would say the show is acceptable at best and I wouldn't recommand it to anyone, even those who have played the games. However, I can still enjoy it unironically despite the blatant flaws. For that reason, I'm not the least bit bothered by those who speak of it negatively, especially if they share their thoughts eloquently. It's not like anyone here is going ''this is shit, BB is ruined 4evah''
