From the perspective of a person who's played BB, I still have no fucking idea why Litchi is up there with the rest of them since she got about 5 minutes of screen-time. One episode, she's tending to Ragna, getting groped and otherwise man-handled by Tao at the hot-springs, the next she's on the same platform with evil anime Michael Jackson and evil anime Jeff Dunham. Yeah, I know Litchi's backstory but that still doesn't make much sense from all the material shown thus far. Watching Phantom making the dudes in the chair disappear was kinda cool though. And henceforth, Hazama shall be known as Evil, Anime Michael Jackson. But, anyway, yeah. It really doesn't make that much sense. Going to repeat myself, but if they are truly going to adapt CP, then they have to do it in 24 episodes if they want thorough storytelling. Nah. They need to just go back and re-do that hot mess of this first season before anything. I'd give it a 5.5/10. I feel more confused after watching that show even though I've played the games. And even if the Blu-Rays are improved, I ain't about to shell out Japanese Blu-Ray money for them. Plus, they'd have to add about another 3 episodes. But, the show had its moments.

cr1ms0n Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Now lets see, CT came out in 2008/09, CS in 2009/10, the petition to begin an anime began in 2010, it took Mori three years to write CP and three years for an anime to be made. Considering that most of CT and CS is alternate roots and such and since CP is all sequental, if they just focus on the Chronophantasma story path, I assume that it's probably going to take a year and a half before the CP anime. Overall, I enjoyed Alter Memory.

Episode 02 is in the works, I can't wait to finish the script and get another casting call going. Alter Memory has been a roller coaster of good and bad, I enjoyed it mostly, but only because I can make so many fun pokes at it in video form. Merry Christmas everyone!

This is pretty much my view of this anime as well. It was fun to go through it because it was just so terribly bad. Between QUALITY, terrible pacing, and just plain bad writing, it's practically a golden mine for anyone looking for parodying material. And to go along with the flow, Merry Christmas folks.

That being said I wouldnt mind a season 2 assuming they give themselves more episodes since they missed sooooo much story matieral that is pretty damn important. Merry Christmas all. It's obvious that the BD version is going to be the definitive one, but the chances of them fixing the writing are slim, which means there is little to no reason to rewatch it, even without the eye cancer.

Also, apologies for the SUPER FUCKING LATE galleries, Atma didn't want to do them anymore and I am an absent - minded swine who kept looking through episode 11 partly, then forgetting for a day or so, then returning, and afterwards leaving it unfinished for a week. Episode 10 is done, and 11 mostly so, but we haven't actually seen 12 yet on account of Xmas occasions preventing it. We'll probably watch it on Saturday, and then I'll post everything up afterwards. LeDom Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 (edited) Opinion on last episode: It was decent, the final fight was a bit better than I expected and it was cool to see Ragna and Jin fighting side by side. Also Makoto survived, which we all expected. I could ask why she doesn't wear that attire in battle instead of the whatever the hell she usually wears but that would be nitpicking. Opinion on the show as a whole: The main flaw of the show wasn't the awkward animation/art, as that will be fixed with Blu-ray releases, but it was the missed potential. Such a huge cast and so many of them were practically swept under the rug. If, and that's just wishful thinking, they end up making OVAs of characters like Carl (Pretty sure anime only viewers wouldn't even be able to tell Relius is his dad) Bang, Platinum or Valkenhayn, they would probably be much better than Alter Memory. Overall, I'll give it 5/10: Average and wouldn't really recommand it to anyone even if they're fans of the game, but in the event they wish to watch it, I would tell them to stream it on Funi rather than buy Edited December 25, 2013 by LeDom

I never expected a faithful adaptation of the games or top quality animation. so I'm fine wih the show. The thing that I don't like is Ragna/Noel, they made their relationship too cute, and talking about cute, I really liked what they did with Nu.

Other than that, Bang wasn't the only one shot/episode character, Carl, Platinum, and even Arakune were this way too, not much screen-time for them, and most of the cast doesn't get any sort of conclusion, so yeah, kind of a mixed bag here. >_>
