Hecatom Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 My problem with Justice isn't that she's a zoner, but that Faust, Axl and Dizzy already bring to the game most of what she has in more creative ways. Though those aren't anywhere near as cute as she is. The gameplay archetype that GGAC+R Justice brings to the game is not similar in any way to Faust, Axl or Dizzy, so no
Mumm-Ra Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Agreed with DW, her gameplay is very unique and when I first played against her it took me a while to figure out what to do. EDIT: Update on xrd site, something about TGS. Used google translate, so I'll wait for a proper translator to get involved. Great, let's hope they reveal more characters, crossing fingers for ABA

Hoping for A.B.A. or Anji or I'm out of a regular for this game.Though I'd be stoked to see Sin confirmed
Luminos564 Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Zappa! I want to see his ghosts and hear his tongue-twister gibberish again. I'd also be very happy to see Slayer. That's the kind of classy you just don't see anymore and need more of.
HoudiniJr100 Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 ...I want slayer dangit. I WANNA 3D DANDYSTEP!
Dream Maker Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 For the mention on Xrd's website : 東京ゲームショウ 2013 では ゼネラルディレクター・石渡がステージ登壇します。 詳しくは リンク先 をご確認ください。 ※GUILTY GEAR Xrd -SIGN- の試遊台出展はありません。 Ishiwatari, the general director, will be making a speech at TGS 2013. Please check the link for more details. (links goes to arcsys website's TGS dedicated page) *There won't be any GUILTY GEAR Xrd -SIGN- test cab exposed this time. As far as I can see the link doesn't really point to any related info though, just the arcsys lineup for TGS that we already know.
BladeOfJustice7 Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 As I thought, based off the google translation. Well, that's depressing...
BladeOfJustice7 Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 (edited) http://d-light777.jp/machine/slot_guilty/index.html The fuck is this? And it seems to have to do with 2186, and it has artwork from that ArcSys art collection, like that man. More importantly there's Sin there too. EDIT: Nvm it seems to be a slot game, but it uses ALL the artwork that was previously speculated to be the precursor for the Xrd designs. Delete this post if it's unwarranted, didn't know where to put this. Edited September 14, 2013 by BladeOfJustice7
Kitsoru Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 snip We know. Everything relating to that has been getting posted here.
Malcopunch Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Do you think we will see any character reveals at TGS?
TekkamanArk Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Considering Axl and I-No just showed up, probably not.
Malcopunch Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Considering Axl and I-No just showed up, probably not. My guess is Axl and I-No will be revealed on the GG Website in TGS
Suzaku Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 I'd be surprised if they didn't have a fairly substantial trailer at TGS, since this is probably going to be the last major Japanese trade show they'll have a chance of showing it off at before it gets released. I don't think Arcsy has ever participated in Jump Festa and there hasn't been a JAMMA show in years. All the other mainstream shows are in the West.

Sadly that might mean the game wont come out untill after this time next year aka they will have a huge drop of GG: Xrd info at next year's TGS then followed by a Q4 release :c atleast thats how it might happen
shinr Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 (edited) 2014 Q4 release Kohatsu Arcade announced a while ago that the Arcade version will be released in Spring 2014. Edited September 15, 2013 by shinr
Narroo Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Kohatsu Arcade announced a while ago that the Arcade version will be released in Spring 2014. Which means a 2015 release date for US consoles, in all likelyhood.
SolxBaiken Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Both the arcade ver and consumer versions have been confirmed for a 2014 release. Depending on when they release the console ver in Japan, it's within the realm of possibility to have an international release in 2014 (like if it comes in Summer~Early Fall). Seeing how the product page specifically list "Japanese" in the Voice and Text options for the arcade version, they may be planning to tighten the international release window for consoles.
Luminos564 Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Which means a 2015 release date for US consoles, in all likelyhood. Isn't that a good thing though? It gives BBCP and P4C time to run their course on the console market. Then, when the dust clears off, we're hit with GG:Xrd and the fun begins all over again.
redsilversnake Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Kohatsu Arcade announced a while ago that the Arcade version will be released in Spring 2014. As nice as that would be, it's better to wait until ArcSys themselves announce a release date. Spring isn't outside the realm of possibility, but unless development is more streamlined than we think, I wouldn't hold my breath. Seeing how the product page specifically list "Japanese" in the Voice and Text options for the arcade version, they may be planning to tighten the international release window for consoles. Unlikely. Although they've spoken of foreign markets before, ArcSys has shown time and again that they prioritize the Japanese market, so an overseas release would depend entirely on Aksys or some other localization company to initiate talks about licensing. And assuming a Spring release for arcades, I wouldn't expect any earlier than Fall for the home version, meaning a 2015 NA release is indeed the most likely outcome.
Vashimus Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 And this is assuming a majority of people here aren't going import it anyway as soon as it's released on consoles in Japan.
FattMatt1887 Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Well we do know the game will be at E3 2014 so We'll probably here something about the US version then. Until then it's all speculation obviously. I do like to think a 2014 us release is possible though.

The ASW president just said that Ishiwatari might go to next year's.
