Looks like a standing overhead to me, akin to Tao's 6B. Since they are "similar" characters they might have added some of Tao's moveset to May's.

Thanks to Aristo and Kurushii for the footage. Good stuff. Kind of scared to see optimal combos considering how high damage seems to be. Unless it scales way off after the first few hits.

Sin doesn't look fully animated yet, when Ky and Sol when into a partial defensive stance, Sin remained the same. So I think he is in the process of being completed.

Valentine's Gamma Ray is a SERIOUS Gamma Ray, i wonder if it'll have any practical uses. I didn't think she had swords THAT big hovering over her though. Shoutouts to that dark ending for Ky's Arcade mode, really set up for this game's console release.

Ky looks like a blast to play, being able to combo off aerial stun edges like that is pretty nuts. Axl's stance is HELLA strong for a Day -6 new move. It being able to combo into itself makes it even scarier but it seems to make Axl extremely vulnerable up close since he has to formally get out of the stance once you get in. It was nice to see people who actually know what they're doing play the game.

The damage of the game doesn't seem to look like much of an issue as I thought before. Danger Time is still dumb but it looks like you can't get retarded damage off of 5hs>66>5hs>66>5hs like in earlier loketest reports.

EDIT: grinder seals seem to go away if a projectile hits it, as in the opponent's projectiles can eliminate Grinder Seals, noticed that in the Axl vs Ky matchup.

Sin's looking good. Ky's ending... yeah. Shit's getting real, huh. Really loving these animated cinematics. Nice touch that the cinematics play out with your character in your pallet if you're using alt colors.

I don't have a virus, I don't get viruses and I download like crazy.

@kitsoru, yeah the color palette thing is pretty dope. They spared no expense on this game. I guess ArcSys always knew that GG is where the real money is.

IIRC MediaFire has changed for the worse. MEGA is largely preferred over it now.

Anyway, game looks fantastic in its current state. Can't wait for that glorious day 1 footage.

Valentine special attack looks easy to dodge, I was expecting something better. Sin design is OK, but I was never a fan of his design in GG2, in Xrd is not much different.

The slight changes that were made to his design make him look extremely cool now (really like the capri's he's rocking now). When I didn't really care for him before. Looks like his hair is less silver brownish and more blonde to match Ky's. Also has a lot more of said hair as well. Enough to cover his eyes somewhat. If he does become playable, which is likely, I'm really curious to see how they'll design him. Can anyone who played through Overture give an idea of how he would probably play. I know he has red lightning or something along those lines.

lots of capoeira-like kicks (think johnny) mixed in with the flag-spinning/slashing, he had a multihit thrusting attack too if I remember right... In Master vs Master encounters I feel like he excelled in the air? Someone who played the game more seriously (and recently, it's been a while) could probably chip in on his strengths better...

Sin was a purely mid range character, whereas Ky excels mid to long range and Sol mid to close. Sin was best at mid range, his normals were somewhat slow compared to the other 2 but they has great reach and were hard to avoid.

He had a counter stance but no DP, so I expect that to transition into Xrd when he becomes playable. His specials REALLY jacked up your guard, but once again took time to come out. He has two very interesting projectiles, the first was Voltic Eye which was a stationary projectile about the size of lvl 2 Blockhead Buster/Ky's CSE. I would like to see it make it into Xrd for his oki setups. His other was Phantom Shot which was is only long range tool, it took time to start up but dealt really good damage and had high projectile priority. Finally Sin, because he's part Gear, had an install called Exciter which slightly enhanced his specials.

Also Sin's lightning is actually black, he mentions that in his intro against Ky.

Something I just noticed thanks to a note on a jp site- the profiles on some (several? not sure) characters' pages have changed on the Xrd website. For example, Ky's no longer mentions Sol as one of his dislikes (ha!) and now mentions Sin (and Dizzy if I'm reading right), I believe under the 'liked/favorite things' section (aww). Have any of these been updated on the news thread with the character information? I know it was noted that the story section was updated for everyone, but not changes to their already-posted profiles. That section is an image so autotranslate is no help.

It's reddish black, but if Sin says it's black, then I go with black. Plus it sounds more badass in my books when your lightning is black as opposed to red.

It is definitely red in the game (see: http://i.imgur.com/aNFhnIi.png sorry for being tiny, only one I have on hand but that's his Ride the lightning)

I guess it's supposed to be black, though? Chalk up to the game's meh graphics, I guess, or inconsistency >: I know his story mentioned black lightning too though, so who knows

I didn't notice till now but they changed the art on every "characters" page, now the art reflect the 3D models.

Edit: They only changed Ky and Sol.

Ky's dislike is "His own weak heart". That's heart as in "hearts and minds", not as in the organ. Doubt he has actual heart problems, lol.

Been a couple months since I played GG2. But this,by far is the best on point run-down description of Sin(I kinda lol at when hearing about Phantom Barrel.Cause I reminisce on the damage when he's around a mass number of servants.That shit nearly kills lol).

If it's within my opinion. Izuna would work well in a fighting game transition too.The only character I felt didn't really fit FG material was Paradigm.But who knows. Ruling out isn't really a forte I'd like to prey on. Rather see what the devs have in store.

To be honest.Kinda makes me wanna play Overture now a little more(although I usually wait to play till the click that games it with me frequently is on).

Ramlethal "Lethal-Ram" Valentine looks great. Axl's stance looks awesome. That Ky in the last set seemed to handle it pretty well, however. I could see that stance being a great move for the first couple weeks until people learn how to properly counter it and blow Axl up, lol.
