I said this before but my "sources" are saying Fall/Winter is the projection (world-wide).  As in this year some time (September-December), delays notwithstanding *knocks on wood*.

Maybe someday we'll see Sin without a flipping eyepatch or Baiken without a flipping facial scar (Sin's early pics have patch flip, but they're early in production with him methinks).

It's not that they can't make non-mirroring sprites, they just choose not to; even on the things that don't matter like Sin's eye patch.

Well shit it does kinda look like that cathedral:0

Well, it is "Babylon 5 years in the future," so I'm not surprised they slipped part of the old Babylon stage in somewhere.

For this week-end, Toruso / Kurobara, Nakamura and Woshige qualified for ArcRevo, all Millia players. I guess it was just a matter of time, even if she has the lowest win rate. But still no Zato.

I never want to hear you say that again!

Well, To be fair, He is strong in this version and he IS the main character. So, you know, it's to be expected to be alot of Sols.

That was one thing I was a little disappointed in, the mirroring of the characters when they switch sides. I thought it would be cool if they re adjusted their poses depending on the side, but everyone just seems to be ambidextrous.

And Baiken actually has two arms (or well, will have when she's released).

Which makes eveyone just a bit more badass.

Well, the argument of whether or not we should have a "back stance" for 2P position has been experimented with in games like Mortal Kombat, and there's always naysayers (even when people were given "Stance Switch").

Personally I have no problem with viewing the back of a character, I think it's more realistic, but people just LOVE to complain about their frames and hitboxes (which are, as of GGXrd according to that article, horizontally adjustable depending on the display).

"Bone scaling is now a feature in UE4 and they like to think it's because of Xrd." -2nd Article

ASW may have possibly influenced UE4's development, I find that amazing if true.

While it's cool that Epic games cared enough about what a Japanese fighting game company wants out of an engine, it's not exactly amazing.  If they don't update their engine with stuff that other developers want, those developers wont license their engine.  If it's a useful enough tool, it makes a lot of sense to add it in case other developers want to use it.

But yeah, that's really good news.  It shows that ASW is a little more connected in the West, and also means that if they make a full jump to next gen, there will be slightly less work to do in the transition.

Doesn't Under Night use different sprites for characters depending on which side of the screen they're on? Or am I not remembering that correctly?

The stick question is a matter of hard- not software. If the PS4 would work with PS3 Sticks, so would Xrd. But idk if PS3 sticks work with the PS4, since the Hori RAP V4 has a switch for PS3/PS4 mode.

IIRC it has been stated that game developers can program PS3 stick support into the game, but they will not work on the PS4 by default

Alright thx, Entnervt.

I've read somewhere that it relies on the game developer to implement ps3 stick compatibility.
