I-no's character matches her clothes; the design fits and makes sense beyond just being fap material. El's really doesn't; and hell, they even give you a downblouse-style cleavage shot during her super or dust to boot. It just screams of throwing your own character under the bus for the sake of some superficial fanservice. What about the fact Elphelt wants to emphasis her feminimity? Granted thwre are other ways to do that, but thats why i think the character would have it.

Though that was an obvious observation, what happened to Madcatz Xrd stick they were mentioning on twitter supposedly? Is it still in development? Â As sexy as the stick is, I hate button layered out in the semi circle fashion, it makes my fingers whiff buttons while I'm playing. Which is obviously because I'm used to the way Madcatz builds their sticks. With that said, I'll wait and see what else will come out for Xrd.
Vlad7779311 Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 I once came up with an idea for a fighting game which had a "Tournament Mode" that could be switched on and off from the options menu; it unlocked everything instantly but disabled saving (which doesn't matter for a tournament). Â If you're going to have unlockable characters in a fighting game, at least have something like that. Off-topic, but Skullgirls already has a Tournament Mode. It just does things like forcing players to do a button check at the character select and prevent the Start Button from pausing the game (You have to hold it for a few seconds. There's going to be a new similar update for the Home Button on PS3). The game doesn't have unlockable characters though: just Fukua who is "hidden" in character select and DLC characters.

If the character is going to be provocative/flirtatious/seductive/promiscuous, sure, make their design as revealing as I-no's. Makes sense. I'm also okay with lots of skin if they are wearing a very sporty outfit because they are an outdoors-y physical fitness type of person (but then most games tag on underboob to these female characters which makes no fucking sense in any context outside lingerie or an equivalent, and again is for the pure purpose of fanservicing tweens). I feel like Millia and May are both really good designs that make sense for the characters. (I loathe how May's [and ABA's, and S-ko's] personality revolve pretty much entirely around getting a man not interested in them to notice them, but I largely ignore GG's story altogether and that's beside the point.) The fact that El and Ram both have rather strange design choices that are clearly for tween-fanservice purposes makes me a bit worried for future female characters for GG; I'm just hoping they can be lumped with Dizzy as those several designs that got soured by fanservice elements rather than a new trend of every female being some otaku's idol-thing. Now complaints aide, El's playstyle looks really cool! I too can't wait 'til TGS. Also, are the videos of the recent Japanese tournament out yet on something that doesn't force me to pay and subscribe to see them?  Quickly, someone call him gay with an image macro, that'll learn him! Yeah, El's playstyle looks pretty sweet otherwise though, as you said. Is December 6th the final release date for Xrd by the way? And is it a worldwide release?

It means "driving enjoyment".  But your guess is as good as mine as what it could actually mean in regards to Xrd.  That stick however...I love it. I WANT IT. What are the chances of that thing being available to the North American market? Nonexistent?

I only read what the auto-translator gave me which was decent enough. It did mention that Elphet's champagne attack should be quite useful. I'm also interested in seeming Sin a lot more now because we haven't seen that guy in motion either.Â
