Slayer's is too grainy to be seen, even after zooming. The page content is nothing but images combined... My Japanese is not proficient enough to do a proper translation, i'd better leave it to the actual translators.

Do note that this is an official site for D-Light's addition of GGV (coz Vastedge is a pain to type ), not from Arc Sys! Our official sources are from Yamanaka's twitter. There is no actual need to put up the story line at a place where it introduces how to play and what available bonuses there are, that's ArcSys' job.

Add-in edit: That gamplay video Kosmos Badgirl posted has a vocal track at the show's opening, guessing it should one of Daisuke's new work that Yamanaka mentioned. Other music heard are Slayer's theme, Holy Orders III (by a friend) and Isuka's opening.

Thought I'd take this time to point out that the sword in this Pachislot game that Sol uses is labeled "Junkyard Dog Mk.II"

Whereas the sword (which looks different btw) in GGXrd is labeled "Junkyard Dog Mk.3"

So I'm guessing, this game is after Overture but just before GGXrd...not sure if it's character reveals are official or secret or sidestory or what yet...

I can only see this "game" as a blatant way for ArcSys to steal money from fans because it's Guilty Gear, and I'm certain it would work on me.

Bridget's voice sounds especially different to me, but he's already switched VA twice so I guess I'm not surprised.

Also has character information cards at the end for Slayer, Bridget, That Man, Dizzy and Chimaki if anyone can see enough to read them.

Several characters appear when Bridget and Millia are defeated, I can see:

Sin, Ky? Really unsure, Bridget, Chipp, S-Ko I believe, Millia and Slayer.

Who's the second character? Did I miss anybody?

Thank god they stuck with the Dizzy design that looks like her original one.

You mean the 'Congratulations!' cut in when you win a battle, right? It's all the fightable characters so like... Slayer, Chipp, Zappa, Bridget, Millia, Ky, Dizzy probably?

The Queen design is used within the game probably and her recognizable (battle) outfit in-battle maybe in addition to the card. Don't worry you get your ridiculous stripper outfit still.

I only watched about 5 minutes before jumping around looking to see if anything cool happened, but I didn't see a single dustloop or RC in there.

The **** Arcsys? Why isn't there a VV > RC > Respect that happens when you get all 7s or some ****?

My buddy Hito translated Dizzy's profile:

"A half-Gear with the blood of ‘Justice’ in her veins. She has an honest and pure heart, but being a Gear lead to a large bounty being place on her head and her life being in danger. Later as she lived an enjoyable life as one of the Jellyfish Pirates, she fell in love with Ky Kiske and they got together(??). Currently she sleeps deep within Illyria Castle, having become embroiled in a certain incident.” (The image is a bit unclear so I’m not sure about the ‘get together’ bit. It looks like 結ばれた maybe but I could be wrong?)

This is what I got from the image:

「ジャスティス」の血を引くハーフギア。素直で純粋な心を持つが、ギアであるが故に多額の賞金を掛けられ、命を狙われていた。後にジェリーフィッシュ快賊団の一員として楽しい日常を送る中、カイ＝キスクと恋に落ち結ばれた。現在はとある事件に巻き込まれイリュリア城の奥深くで眠りに着いている。

Sin, Sol and Chimaki

CHIMAKI: A character born out of the Guilty Gear column in a monthly magazine.

The name ‘Chimaki’ was selected from submissions from readers, and he has found his home as the Guilty Gear mascot character. Not a character whose thought processes are easy to grasp, but he is apparently a master swordsman affiliated with the C1000 Group.

（月刊誌のギルティギアコーナーから生まれたキャラクター。

「ちまき」という名前は読者公募から採用され、ギルティギアのマスコットキャラクターとして定着した。何を考えているか解らないキャラクターだが、Ｃ１０００組（しーせんぐみ）に所属する剣豪らしい。）

SOL BADGUY: A former scientist, altered into a biological weapon, a ‘Gear’, by ‘That Man’.

Boorish and lazy, he speaks using a few words as possible.

He is on a journey with Sin to get revenge on ‘That Man’.

（「あの男」によって生体兵器「ギア」に改造された元科学者。

無骨で面倒くさがり屋なため、必要最低限の言葉しか口にしない。

「あの男」への復讐を果たすためシンと共に旅をしている。）

SIN KISKE: A Quarter-Gear with the king of Illyria Ky Kiske as his father, and the Half-Gear ‘The Maiden of the Grove’ as his mother.

Left in the care of Sol at a young age, he received an extreme upbringing.

Gears develop quickly, and contrary to his appearance his real age is around 6 years old. Because of this he retains some childishness in his mentality and intellect.

Just because Sol designed the sword in 2187 doesn't mean the game is set in 2187.

If the game is set in 2190 then Dizzy would have been asleep for three years and May and Bridget would have aged 8 years. Pretty problematic in terms of design.
